My stay in Liverpool was for one night. There were just two of us staying, myself and my boyfriend. We were just wanting to get away for a one night break on the weekend.

The hotel was great, actually it was nicer than expected. The hotel is part of the Albert Dock, I would say that it was a converted warehouse.

Our room was much larger than the usual Premier Travel Inn rooms and had a fantastic view over the Albert Dock. The room was clean and the bed was huge!

'Check in' was efficient and the staff were very helpful.

Parking immedietly outside the hotel was expensive.
7pm - 8am £2.00
During the day the rate worked out to be about £2.00 per hour, which was expensive.
We were offered an alternative by the hotel which was half the price, however I felt happier that my car was closer to the hotel.

The cost of the room was £60 for the Saturday night. In addition to this we prepaid for breakfast, which was £7.50 each. The breakfast was great, served in the restuarant on the 1st floor, and was on a 'help yourself basis', so you could go back and forth as much as you liked.

We took a Black Cab from the Albert Dock into the city centre, this cost about £3.50.

I would definetly stay here again! Great value for money.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The check-in staffer was curt. We had reserved non-smoking online, but she tried to tell us that we hadn't. Then, only after we produced our hotel confirmation print-out (VERY important to have!) showing our non-smoking reservation, did she say "Someone must have changed it in the computer." She then found us a non-smoking room. The hotel is part of Albert Dock, which was a former warehouse, so the rooms have brick walls/ceilings. The rooms were small and sparse but comfortable, equipped with A/C. Great price too-- 60 pounds per night, weekend rate. Breakfast was an optional, cold buffet (the kitchen was being refurbished, so they couldn't cook anything hot). The hotel is in a great location, right on Albert Dock and near restaurants and shops, and right next door to The Beatles Story museum. It was also only a short walk from where the Magical Mystery Tour (Beatles bus tour) picks up passengers. If you are in Liverpool because of the Beatles, this is a great location to be in!

Excellent location to explore the city centre. Good hotel with nice accomodation ... no air con except for a fan, not so great on a warm night.

Stayed 2 nights here, over in Liverpool to visit our niece for the weekend. Hotel was in a great location in the Albert Dock, nextdoor to the Beatles Museum. Room was big, clean, and had the most comfortable beds in the world. Wee bit noisy at night, but I quite enjoyed the city sounds. Spent very happy hours in the Albert Dock - musuems, cafes and bars, gift shops. Not too far to walk anywhere, and taxis were always available, about £3 for most trips within the city. Only disaster was breakfast on the Saturday morning - overrun, no food, mess everywhere, no cutlery or crockery, staff in a right tizz. If we had known, we would have skipped breakfast - plenty of other breakfast places in the Dock. Did that the next morning - much more satisfactory. Would stay here again.

Stayed here for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend with our 2 children aged 11 and 13.

Room was plenty large enough for 4, very clean, new and being on the top floor we did have a view of the dock.

Hotel was great value for money, great location, very friendly staff and everything seemed new and clean.

Breakfast was more than adequate and the children ate free - what more could you want.

Parking - I was concerned about this as other reviews had said it was expensive. If you park directly outside the hotel it is £12 for 24 hours. However the hotel has a deal with a new car park about 5 minutes walk away which is £5 for 24 hours. They will tell you about it when you check in as you need a voucher from reception.

Would I stay again - absolutely.
