I stayed here one night in Liverpool and wished I'd stayed longer. This hotel is in the historic Albert Dock so is in a fantastic location close to attractions and shops. Because it has been converted from an old warehouse it has a lot of character (which is very unusual for budget hotels which mainly consist of characterless generic designs). The hotel is enhanced by the vaulted ceilings and brickwork.
The staff were really helpful and the rooms were spacious clean and tidy and the bathroom was fairly spacious too. We had the requisite 30 minutes free wifi which all Premier Inns provide (would be better if it was more or unlimited). And also had tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning which was definately needed during this time as it was super hot!
Didn't try the breakfast but noticed the cooked and continental breakfast were charged at the same price. At other Premier Inns I noticed they were charged at different prices - continental being cheaper than cooked. There's also a restaurant there but we didn't try it.
Unfortunately, there isn't any carpark attached to the hotel but the hotel does offer a discount at the convention centre carpark across the road . You just need to get the hotel to validate your ticket.
I would definately stay at this hotel again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Considering the location and quality of the hotel I think it was pretty good value for money at 64 pounds per night for a twin room.
