This hotel is close to the main attractions. There is no bar facilities in the hotel. It is served by a pricey delicatassen in the vicinity. There is a Costa and a Subway half a mike away.

My room was slightly small for size. Very bland and undecorated. Noise levels minimum. Staff friendly. Car park seemed safe . Rooms definitely need some cosmetic work up. Basic television set without all freeview channels.

We got a concession rate., so , it was worth it

compared to some this is a small Travel Lodge. No Restaurant, no food. Nice helpful enough Manager on reception. Not situated at all near Albert Docks. A 1/3 mile walk to Train Station to take you to centre of Liverpool. Lovely Deli oppsite (beautiful but expensive) and very little else in the area. Choose a room overlooking the Docks behind Hotel.

Just stayed at this hotel for 1 night with my family and it was a nice experience. Over the past 3 years we have stayed at this hotel 3 times and the quality of the stay has been great for all of the times. As you would expect from a Travelodge it is clean and tidy even if a little bit cheap (Matress wise). But overall it was an enjoyabe and would deffinatly stay there again if the price was as good as it was for the last 3 times staying there. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone as it was a very nice experience staying there.

Room Tip: The rooms are generally quiter and have a better view if they are on the side of the River Mersey wh...

Nothing special about this travelodge, but its a short way from the city centre and perfect for a stopover if you're visiting the city and want to go out at night. It has a nice cafe/deli next door too which is what I would recommend for breakfast.

This is simply not up to parr!!! We arrived into beautiful Liverpool getting very excited by the sites we could see, the location is ok of this travelodge and makes a nice walk on a sunny day into the centre or the Albert Docks area, the travel lodge was small which is ok, there was a strong smell of body odure as we walked in! Yuk, we tried to check in early 1.30 and was charged £10.00 extra, entering the room it was very dissapointing very bland, bathroom needed ripping out totally, floor was carpeted in main room which needed ripping up bedding was white but horrible flat pillows beds that you fall into the middle of, a tv which looked like it had come out of the ark!!! the toilet paper was simply awful quality, we went for a walk into Liverpool Albert Docks and the city centre which were simply beautiful so much for every age group to do it was a real busstley city I loved it, when we got back to the travelodge we had a different receptionist and the odure was not the same she was lovely loaned my sons gf a hairdryer, she also commented how nice we looked when we went out and told us to have a lovely evening her customer service skills were great!!!!! we had a fab time eating and drinking to celebrate my sons 22 birthday, we got a taxi to and from the travelodge which ranged from £3.50 to £5.00. We arrived back to another receptionist who was fine didnt say anything to us at all!!!! Went to sleep which was fine we had drank a bottle of champagne plus other drinks!!!!! we had pre booked breakfast which is £4.50 per person we asked for it at 10am we waited till 10.40 and we went to reception its a small travelodge so no restaurant available, the male receptionist said sorry I forgot busy with the cleaning! it came in a box cornflakes and warm milk!!!! Yuk orange juice which was nice a flattened coissant, and a muffin!!!! so £18.00 spent on 4 bottles of orange juice!!!!! not good value for money at all. I will totally never stay in a travelodge again. :-((( X

Room Tip: I do not think there is any good rooms in this travel lodge I was most dissapointed by the standard...

We were looking for somewhere reasonable for a couple of nights, wanted one with a car park as I know how expensive parking can be in Liverpool. Firstly, don;t be fooled by Liverpool Docks, it's about 2-3 miles away from Albert Dock where we were planning to go, so you need a car to get about. The hotel was cheap but the rooms need a makeover desperately. The furniture a tatty, chips in the woodwork, dirty windows and quite noisy, but you can't blame the hotel for that. There's no facilities at the hotel itself but there is a little deli in the car park which serves (expensive) meals. Wouldn't go back to this particular hotel again.
