“Bargain for £21!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Booked this for a 1 night stay back in April got a deal for only £21 for the two of us. Location is great for going to the ECO arena or sight seeing in the dock.

I can't fault it for the price I paid.

Our room was small but comfy and clean. However there was loads of crumbs in the carpet in the hallways.

Staff were friendly.

Bargain and I would go back :-)

We only paid £27 for a one night stay on a Thursday following a concert at the Arena. (about 7 minutes walk from the hotel).

I appreciate we were in a city centre on a busy main road and when the check in clerk asked if we would like any particular part of the hotel I kind of laughed when I asked for a "quiet room". We stayed in 517 which was one room in a corridor of just 7 rooms. It was VERY quiet and we slept right through until 9.30am!! The windows are very good at keeping the noise out.

We did look out over the back of the hotel so not a great view but we wanted a good nights sleep so were happy with the room. However the front of the building where the lifts are is glass so the views over towards the Liver Buildings and the Albert Dock are great.

Our room was "compact" but the bed was comfortable and the shower good so we can't complain about anything really.

The hotel has a bar which is open until 4am and the hotel also serves some food.

We would recommend to friends and would stay here again - I've scored this on the price and the comfort for the level of star of this hotel. Obviously it is a "budget" range of hotel so it's not going to have the grand entrance and big lounges that the likes of the Crowne Plaza will have but I feel it does deserve Very good for the price.

Arrived at 2pm hoping to leave our bags to be told they don't have a storage area but we can check in early for a tenner or wait around the bar for half an hour where we can be talked into buying a drink to check in for free at 2.30pm. Once checked in rooms was great. Location was fab especially as we were heading over to the Albert Dock for a meal. Breakfast the next morning was a bit naff. No staff around to greet so after 5 minutes we helped ourselves. An older member of staff shouted at us and said we had to give our names in. Maybe we would of know this if there was staff around to inform us of this. We found breakfast was dry and some of the food was congealed as there was no staff around to stir the food. Another lady got shouted at for helping herself to a coffee as there was no one around to help and was told "sorry babe but we have to get payment from you as we will get shouted at otherwise". The hotel was not busy and there was plenty of staff on shift it just turned out that they all preferred to congregate in their back office. After breakfast we left the keys in the room and left via the lift....we gathered that there would be no-one on check out to greet us anyway!

I like Travelodge because you generally know what you're getting, there are deals available and if you choose a recently built hotel it should be fairly clean and tidy. And that's the case with this one, which is conveniently located in the centre of Liverpool. The fixtures and fittings are pretty basic, but my room had a comfortable bed, was in a quiet part of the hotel (as requested) and had a clean bathroom. I heard a couple of other people grumbling at check in (couldn't make out what about) and when I checked out a lady was saying the shower wasn't very hot. I had no problems myself, and for £32 for bed and breakfast (which I didn't bother with) on a Thursday night in the middle of the Christmas party season, I thought it was good value. If you find the room too hot, it's easily solved by turning the thermostat down on the wall heater.

Stayed here to a go to a concert at the Liverpool Echo Arena which is about 5 mins walk away. Room was booked in advance for an INCREDIBLY low price and was fantastic value for money. Have used Premier Inns in the past but for location and price will look at Travelodges from now on. Was on 6th floor on front of hotel with fantastic view over the waterfront! Road noise from busy road outside not really noticeable and unlike other reviewers had no promblem with room temp....but it was December.
24 hour parking at Q Park was reduced with voucher from reception (Got £5.50 off)
Would highly recommend for people visiting Liverpool City Centre

This travelodge is in a perfect location oppositeThe Albert Dock/waterfront. 2 minutes from Liverpool,1 shops.
The room was clean and bright and was suitably equipped . We had no trouble with noise from inside or outside the hotel. It has a bar and cafe with a Tesco extra underneath which is handy if you have forgotten anything.
