“Excellent service & location vs price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

Great place to stay at if you're going to Anfield since you can get on bus 17 just across the street from the hotel (that passes Queens square). Cheap and clean and nice with friendly staff. The location is very good both for siteseeing (close to both centre, Liverpool one, and Albert Dock). It's based just on top of a Tesco which is also convenient if you need something at any hour.

It's not the most beautiful hotel I've stayed at, and there's not a lot of services and spas but for the low price and the purpose of sleeping I really recommend it. If you want to eat fancy, it's within walking distance.

Also something worth mentioning since I normally wouldn't expect good service from low price alternatives (Lex RyanAir) - I accidently booked the wrong date at first and then called the customer service and they helped me fix that.

Room Tip: If you need a standard european 2 plug outlet for 220/230 Volts there is an outlet for the razor mac...

Well we went myself my mum my sister and our 3 children. We was having breakfast the lady kept taking our food and plates before we finished the more we was getting annoyed the more she done it was only us she was doing this to. My mum then told my dad on the phone the lady came running at us and screened if you got a problem say it to my face verry threatening. Me My mum and my neice are ill and don't wish to be threatend at breakfast. The girl behind the desk quickly came through to us and moved her into the back she was nice but maintained the lady serving breakfast was normaly nice but to threaten a 3 girls with 3 kids is not nice the kids were verry upset and scaired to go check out. We then received a refund on both our rooms but still in my mind that's not enough.

Stayed here for the night for shopping and concert at the Echo arena and the hotel was fantastic. Chris the night porter was brilliant very friendly and helpful. The rooms are massive, very clean and very comfy beds.
A nice walk into the centre of Liverpool and only minutes away from the train station by walking. Will be back at the hotel without a doubt.

3 of us stayed in a family room, only cost us £35 each for 2 nights +£7.50 for breakfast each morning. Such value gir money. I am a really fussy person, but this hotel more than met my expectations. Really close to shops and Albert docks. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Total value for money and so clean. Apart from next doors tesco alarms going off at a ridiculous ti...

Stayed here for 1 night. 2 couples friends.
Excellent location.
Check in was fast. Room were basic but clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was nice. Good choice.
I give it 4/5 because there was no draws in our room.
The view was great as well.
Definitely go back hopefully sooner rather than later

Just back from my 3rd mini-break here since this hotel opened. Got a great price of £58 for the 2 nights. No problems with check-in, room keys, noise etc. Only minor grumble was an unusual smell just inside the bedroom door which came and went - thought at first it was a cleaning fluid smell, but it could have been dampness. That said it wasn't intrusive and didn't permeate the whole room. The new beds and pillows bring Travelodge up to Premier Inn comfort standards. Also love the new moveable desk light as previously lighting in this area was poor for reading. Location is superb for day and night attractions and public transport connections.

We arrived at the hotel on a very busy Friday evening, after being stuck in traffic we managed to easily find the one centre car park just a small 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We were then greeted by a very friendly receptionist ( I think her name was michelle) who was happy and helpful. Our room was basic but did the job, clean and tidy and plenty of room, we didn't spend much time in there anyway. The hotel is great for people wanting to be near the centre for shopping as we did! also for those would like to be near to the albert docks. we were unsure were to go for food on our first evening but the helpful receptionist quickly advised us to go along to the one centre where we had a lovely meal at pizza express. However, the hotel does serve food and alcohol in their own bar. the second night however, we went for food around the albert dock, I would not advice this as it was full of drunken and roudy drinkers, not nice when your paying a lot of money for a simple meal. our room was cleaned daily and we were given fresh towels. the receptionist also gave us a discount voucher for our car parking we only paid £19 for 3 days and the car park was wardened and extremely safe.
