I did not see the exhibition on political protests and that, perhaps, was a mistake. I had a limited time and so went to the parts that were free, which comprised of some work that is permanent and a changing exhibition. Well firstly, I do like modern art and do not approach it with the disdain others would, but I did not find much captivating on the current exhibition. There were moments in the display that were interesting (on sexualization, for example) but then other moments, the flickering lights for West Ham? that left me cold. The permanent art collection is fine, some impressionists and some famous works but overall, I did not find this particularly interesting. I really wanted to like it but did not.
