on booking thought it was good location for footbal stadiums but was quite bit far out would of preferred staying in centre but left it to late and centre hotels were booked up my fault.on arrival young lady receptionist couldnt of been more helpul and freindly.what let my stay down was on meeting my son and his freind in bar his freind had some food and informed me that ewasnt very good and after having experince in different parts of country eating at beafeaters attached to premier inns have found average and expensive for what it is .also return to hotel wanted to go online to book another premier inn for following day for my journey back. saw all the adverts in room offering free wi fi but of course couldnt get connection. after going down to reception and reporting it was told they would try resolving problem and would inform me. i gave up waiting went to bed. had nosie in corridor during night then as was put in room overlooking car park had delivery man tuning up about 7ish with all clanging of cages, so not best nights sleep only thing is the beds are still comfortable. do feel premier travelodge who used to be budget hotels are now charging 4star hotel prices but still giving budget experience and bamboozling us all with the adverts about £29 rooms stop paying lenny henry all that money and get back to giving affordable budget accomadation. p.s and get new tellys

Room Tip: go for newer builds and dont be fooled by adverts

Stayed here this weekend. We often stay here and the hotel was up to the usual really good standard (great rooms, really helpful staff). Somebody was smoking in their room (we could smell it when we got in on the Friday night) and the hotel pushed letters under all the doors to explain that this was not permitted – I thought it was good they were attempting to do something about it.

We ate in the restaurant, on the meal deal, on the Friday night and the food was really good. We also had breakfast on the Saturday but the place was packed and they really did not have enough staff on to cover the workload. Everything kept running out and the poor girl who seemed to be in charge (there was just her and one young lad) was run ragged. I gave up waiting for hot water for a cup of tea, and we had one back in the room.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room. The one at the top of the stairs is a nightmare (we've stayed in it befor...

This is a typical Premier Inn. Its in excellent condition, with large rooms and all the facilities you'd expect.

Only three quibbles:
1. There's a big sign in the car park warning you your car will proibbaly not be there in the morning unless you put it in the secure car park at the rear! None of us had any problems - but be aware.
2. The hotel is actually a good 15-20min taxi ride from Liverpool Lime Street Station and costs £15 to get into the town centre. If you're staying here for a night out, you rack up huge taxi bills in no time getting to and from the centre!
3, The price - you know what you're goiung to get from Premier Inn, but £100 a night? Excessive.

Food is available at a Beefeater Pub/Restaurant across the car park.

There's also a taxi rank outside.

recently stayed during a Liverpool home game so the hotel was busy but the staff were very friendly and helpful. the restaurant personnel were particularly helpful (and it was busy) with nothing being too much trouble. food was excellent with a good choice.

Stayed here for the weekend starting 13/01/12, travelling to Liverpool for the football at Anfield with my 2 boys. Having stayed with Premier Inn before, although not at this one, I knew what to expect and I have to say I was slightly disappointed.
Checkin was easy, fast and the staff were brilliant..........very friendly and informative. The room was as expected....clean, big enough and modern and it was quiet and peaceful at night.
The only downsides I'd say was the breakfast which for me didn't hit the usual high standards of other Premier Inns I stayed at. The cooked food was of a low quality........I just couldn't eat the sausages.... and the scrambled eggs were AAHHH! and I'm not fussy.
So I just had the continental breakfast, which was ok but the coffee wasn't that good.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to be very quiet and similer.

We had to visit the area for a family function.Having stayed at various Premier Inns around the country i knew what to expecct and this one did not disappoint.Check in was a breeze. The room was a treck from reception but gave it us a lovely quiet room. The room was large clean and very comfortable. The staff were warm and welcoming incldung the Night Staff who gave us a fresh supply of tea and coffee after we got back late from a family party. Good location, good accommodation and would definitely stay again when we are in the area
