We booked The Liner because we wanted to stay in the city as close as possible to attractions and restaurants. We had seen The Liner on TripAdvisor, and were persuaded to stay thanks to the positive reviews, coupled with a great price we'd seen online. The Liner is right next to Lime Street Station, so it was perfect for us. It was clean, was new (my fiancé, who is from Liverpool says it used to be a post office or mail sorting facility) and had a great view of the city. The staff were friendly. We had to get wifi access twice due our first passwords expiring--the longest you can have them for is 2 days-- but other than that, it was great and we would stay there again.

Stayed at hotel 16th feb , very clean hotel ,service wus very good , had a meal in restraunt very good value, very central to everything , taxi journey from airport 25 mins , wil be back the nex time I visit Liverpool

We stayed there for three nights in February. Booked it because of excellent price including a free cooked breakfasr and parking. We were not dissappointed. Central location (next to the Lime street station), only 2min walk to the high street and shopping area, 15 min to the docks. I may not look pretty from outside but has excellent facilities inside. Definitely meets the requirements of 4 star hotel. Very clean, comfortable with friendly staff and superb breakfast. Will strongly reccomend for everyone. P.S. The deco suits the hotel name "The Liner" and you really feel like staing on the ship.

I stay here every February and it is a real home from home. And it gets better every time I come. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the staff amongst the friendliest I have ever met, superb location (close to main train station but you never hear hear the trains) and a great breakfast.

The restaurant is very good too - I recommend their 'pre-theatre' menu, excellent value for superbly cooked food. The bar is also an easy place to be if you are on your own.

Well done The Liner and thank you for making me feel so welcome and at home.
