“Nice place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2011

We stayed at this hotel on our UK trip recently, and were more than pleased with the room and service. We had a beautiful sized room, clean and the service from the staff was great. We would definitely stay again. The TV in the room didn't work, but as we were only there as a stop over overnight it didn't bother us too much.

Great location near the train station and easy to find. The concierge and front desk were friendly and extremely helpful. My daughter and I shared a twin room for £60/no breakfaast which seemed like a bargain when we made the reservation. However, the twin beds were very narrow and squishy, kind of like trampolines. The room was tiny, more for children then two full sized people: we barely had room for our luggage, There was no A/C although you could open a window, I had to call down to the front desk to find out how to get the lights and the TV to turn on. To get the lights to work, you had to place and leave your room card in a little box on the wall. The TV required that you push a button on the back and then wait a minute for it to come on. I found this information out after the fact, it was not offerred up front. The hallways were barely wide enough to accomodate 1 person with luggage and the elevator could accomodate no more than two people at a time.

Room Tip: Ask how to work the lights and TV first

We stayed here for a night...the staff were really nice and helpful and the hotel seemed nice. Rooms werent noisy one bit, but we were on the side facing the street. The rooms were VERY hot though, but there was a fan in the room which helped. We were next to our friends and we had joinging doors which could be used which was cool. Would stay here again.

Rooms were really clean and the bed was super king sized, so plenty of room. Breakfast was excellant, well cooked food that was of a high standard.
Guest services team were very helpful and all staff were very polite.

Room Tip: Rooms warm. no air con, ask for a fan.

I spent a couple of days with my partner in Liverpool. We went to the liner hotel as it is central located and mid priced.

The room is quiet big and clean. Enough room for leaving our luggage. We didn't have to move our things constantly when going from a corner of the room to another. Maybe the tv is a little bit small. When you see from bed you cannot clearly read the subtitles. I watched the F1 grand prix and I would appreciate some more inches to read the time table.

Wide selection of breakfast food. Typical english breakfast plus toast iogurt and fruit.

And at last but not least, super friendly staff. They helped us in everything we needed.
