I agree with some of the other reviewers, it is in a great location. The only problem was driving to it, I could see the hotel across the street but it took a 15 minute drive to get there, thank God for GPS because I wouldn't have been able to figure it out of how to do it. I used the post code and it brought me down a side street close to the location, and I had to search for it another 10 minutes before even seeing it.

As for the actually hotel, it was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything worked in the room. It had an OK gym, small but it had most of the machines that you would look for. For a Marriott, it was average. I would say I'm torn between the ratings on this one for the site, it's somewhere between average and very good. If you want a quite night of sleep in a good location this isn't a bad choice.

We attended for a works christmas dinner/entertainment. Room booked for overnight stay afterwards. Food was close to inedible. Although the meal was for a large group, the food was basic and bland, especially for the price of £40 per head. It was hot, which is about as much as a compliment that could be given. The entertainment was minimal and restricted to a disco on a small dance floor. Drinks expensive but as expected for a hotel. The room was quiet but dated. It was small compared to other rooms in the same price bracket. Bathroom was rubbish. This hotel needs a serious refurb and i cannot reccommend it.






Obviously a good location if visiting Liverpool but not value for money at all.

A great central location right in the centre of the city. Reasonable pri es as well. Service is good. Only problem we had was that the air conditioning was broken and we had to leave the door open to cool down. Buffet breakfast has a great variety to choose from. Great bar downstairs to sit and relax and just outside as you come down the steps is La Tasca Tapas Bar. Why stay anywhere else when you can stay in the heart of the city.

We stayed here for one night early January. Check in was quick and effiicient. We went to our room and had to call reception since there was no iron. We also asked for additional tea and coffee. The request was fulfilled within a few minutes. Breakfast was good and self service. I imagine the restaurant could get very busy if the hotel is full since it seemed to be quite small considering the number of rooms. The room was clean and quiet.
