I took my daughter and grandson to this place after seeing it taking part in a television series , it sounded impressive !
What a disappointment !
The waiter was fabulous nothing was a problem , that's why I didn't complain on the day , my daughter didn't want to cause a fuss ! When I got home I did send an email complaining , but nobody bothered to respond !
For the first course we ordered oysters which were first class .
I ordered Lobster for my main , I wanted a whole Lobster , alarm bells should of rang when I was told they only come in in halves .I can honestly say it was vile! Not fresh , obviously frozen , for the price it was daylight robbery !
My daughter had some kind of fish stew ? Which was mainly tomatoe , because that's all that we could taste !
The child's meal was good .
I walked out of that place feeling like I had literally been robbed , it was awful and wouldn't recommend to anyone !

Thank you for doing your review, and we are extremely sorry about your overall dining experience.
In the past there have been a few negative comments about the actual size of the Lobster , but never the actual taste. In fact the very opposite, with excellent feedback about the taste and overall dish itself. Unfortunately I am not sure, from the description you gave, what the other dish was?
Unfortunately from our records we do not seem to have received any complaint about this.(The down side of modern technology, sad to say.) We ALWAYS acknowledge, respond and act on any complaints we receive, as being a family owned business we do take pride in what we do, and the satisfaction of our guests is our main and only concern. I can only apologise for this.)
As part of our procedure for serving, the waiter always does feedback to our guests, to ask if all is alright. It is a real pity that you did not raise your disappointment with the food with the waiter or manager during your visit. This would have allowed us to FULLY rectify the meal, or offer alternatives which would have been more to your liking. We want our guests to enjoy themselves, to return & recommend, and definitely not too leave feeling the way you did. There is absolutely no benefit to anyone in that happening, so a lost opportunity for both of us.
We do not write our reviews, or influence the many good ones we receive for our food, for our service and for being a family who care about our guests each and everyone of them.
We would certainly recommend if you ever experience the same sort of thing again - in any restaurant - then please do tell the manager, so that they can then do everything to remedy the situation.
