We were in liverpool for a visa appt and had stayed at travelodge the night before. Our appt was at 10am so we called the night before to ask if we could drop our bags at the hotel in the.morning to which they courteously said yes. We got to Base2Stay at around half 8 am (keep in mind check in is at 2pm) and the staff informed us our room was ready and we could check in now if we wanted to. Of course we were delighted it was such a relief! They even printed a few documents for our appt for which we were so grateful :) the staff were more than accomodating, the room was tastefully decorated (we stayed in a king), the bed was very comfortable and the mini kitchen had everything from crockery, microwave and a fridge. Oh did i also mention we had free internet connected to the telly and 20% discounts at some great restaurants and bars nearby like lunya and alma de cuba. We had a brilliant stay at the hotel and are already making plans to visit again! Def recommend Base2Stay :)

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Liverpool! I cannot fault it in any way. The staff were helpful and friendly right from the start, the hotel was incredibly clean and the rooms were huge, with great comfy beds. The location was fantastic as it was quiet and off the Main Street, but close enough to access Tesco, Liverpool One and Albert Dock with a short walk.

This place is great. Building itself doesn't justify the inside. Really modern rooms with hidden mini kitchen which has a microwave, fridge, cutlery draw and kettle. A smart style tv, free wi-fi. Minor downside is no breakfast but there's plenty of choices around town. Will be going back.

Me and my sister wanted to take mum away for her birthday in December, we only live in Chester but love Liverpool, we booked here as they had more room and a kitchen. When we arrived we were upgraded to a larger room, which was lovely, we had loads of space and really enjoyed our stay, the reception staff were very helpful. The rooms were very quite.
We went out for a lovely Chinese at Miu Miu (2 minute walk) and because of the fridge we could enjoy our champagne chilled on our return.
If you want that Hotel stay that is a little more special this is thee ace to stay
