“Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

We stayed at this hotel this week. It is a great location with the 500 bus from the Airport stopping almost outside. Its a five minute walk to Liverpool One. The rooms are clean and comfortable with comfortable beds, that includes the fold out sofa bed. Breakfast was excellent, yes it can get busy, but the hotel has a sign up which indicates the peak times. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. We would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel in January, its very convenient to the city centre, literally only a 5 min walk. Room was lovely with flat screen tv, tea/coffee making facilities and a lovely modern bathroom. Full breakfast included in the price which was great value for money. Staff were lovely and friendly and would definitely stay here again.

- Booked via lastminute.com on the morning of arrival, receive a good rate.
- 2 family room, each room came with one double bed, and one double sofa bed. Both beds were very comfortable, but with the sofa bed open, the room space become small.
- the room came with breakfast, which was another plus.
- Parking isn't free, but not expensive.
- Internet was free and unlimited.

The hotel is easy to find on the Waterfront, and a short walk from the Albert Dock and City Centre. There are plenty of parking spaces in the basement and this is secured by a lifting gate at all times. The hotel is smart in appearance and very clean; the reception staff are helpful and attentive. Be warned that a full menu is served only until 9pm, after which only pizzas and a limited range of bar snacks are available. There is complimentary Intenet although I found it to be rather slow. If you get a room facing the main road on the Waterfront you may be bothered by some traffic noise - though maybe this is to be expected in a city location. Apart from an interesting-looking pub next door, the nearest alternative eateries are other hotels (Jurys Inn is 5 mins walk) or in the city centre (about 15-20mins walk away). I'd certainly consider staying here again as it is good value.

We have stayed twice at this hotel in the past 12 months and been very pleased on both occasions. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the rooms are spotlessly clean! In fact they have a policy saying if you aren't completely satisfied they don't expect you to pay!
The car park costs £10 per day which isn't bad for Liverpool and it's under cover but awkard as narrow slope to go down and parking bays "tight" with lots of posts.
The price though is excellent for Liverpool and the rooms are very comfortable, easy walk into city centre and to the Albert dock and Liverpool one shopping centre.
Breakfast isn't great but does the job, would definately stay here again anytime!

Stayed here for a university open day. It exeded our expectations. What a lovley modern hotel! Free access to the gym too was a bonus! Staff were polite and helpful, even got to check in early as our room was ready. Easy 5minute walk from the center. Only negative was the drinks at the hotel were very expensive. Would stay here again.

Don't be put off by the exterior location, the hotel is just across from the Echo Arena & about 5 mins from Liverpool One and is lovely, modern & clean.
Great use of space in the bedrooms and plenty of well located plugs! Rooms also have a good sized t.v, hair-dryer, kettle, Iron & Ironing board & free Wi-Fi
Lots of cosy seating areas around the hotel which also have lots of plugs if needed.
Breakfast is served until 10am & the 12pm checkout means you can have a nice lie in if you want. If looking to stay in Liverpool again I will be returning here.
