“Ideal for a city break”

Convenient for the docks and the shopping centre. Good clean well appointed rooms with all you need for a city break. The one draw back to the room is the glass door to the bathroom. Although it’s frosted glass, a nocturnal visit to the bathroom produces enough illumination to be a hazard to passing aircraft let alone others in the room trying to sleep. Breakfast is the ‘budget’ variety but quite adequate although the buffet area is under a lot of pressure around 9.00. Poor marks for the coffee machine you need 3x espresso in the mug to get any flavour. The Baltic Fleet pub just outside is a definite plus for the grey beards among us.

This brand is new in the UK and this is the third new opening of service focussed hotels by Hilton, all aspects of the constriction and design are being looked after by Hilton to achieve the high standards for the new brand and our hotel. I can only apologies if you felt that this was not the case.

Please accept my apologies for the Maintenance issues; I have spoken to the relevant people to ensure a no repetition of the same situation as you have explained.

Rooms were great, large and modern. Location was prime, 2mins walk to the Albert Dock (home to the Beatles museum, Maritime and Liverpool museums, and many great pubs/eateries). 5mins (approx) walk to Liverpool One (shopping hub) and a max of 15mins walk to the Liverpool Street Station! very good location.

Only fault I had was with the breakfast, would have been better to not have the hot breakfast (overcooked, floury eggs, undercooked sausages) in favour of a better grab 'n go style if that is all the budget allows, as would have been easier, given the massive overcrowding in the kitchen.

That aside, I would absolutely recommend staying here, perfect location, and comfortable surroundings :)

Arrived on Thursdays 14thfeb for long weekend , hotel is stylish , staff are courteous , pretty central , for getting around , done the ferry, big wheel , museum , shopping and three times at the cavern club, yep three!.place a must is you enjoy live music, eating out is great , can recommend the salt house/ the hub/ and alma de Cuba food first class , p,s we were lucky with the weather , dry sunny days , crisp air, can,t complain for the time of year.

Spent 2 nights here an very pleased with our choice.Room spotless and comfortable, Breakfast filled us up for the day ahead. Staff polite an helpful.Also walking distance to all main attractions and shopping made this an ideal choice when visiting Liverpool.

Stayed one night while on business in Liverpool. Easy and polite check in. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and light. The bedding was good quality and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with everything you could want. Self service was no problem. All in all a very pleasing stay.

My first time staying at the Hampton by Hilton chain of hotels. Externally, the hotel is in a new but uninspiring high-rise building adjacent to apartment blocks and an abandoned construction site. Practically speaking, it rests for all intents and purposes directly at the center of Liverpool. Parking, via gated underground parking easily accessed and charged at around 10 pounds per day with elevator to lobby and all floors of the hotel.

Internally, the lobby was warm, clean, and modern making one feel comfortable and happy to be staying at the hotel. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient; indeed actually all employees I encountered were very helpful.

The room was quite clean with the exception of a few minor flaws, the odd hair and shower glass streak here and there. From the 3rd floor, large panoramic floor to ceiling windows offered excellent views of the center of Liverpool and Albert Docks essentially across the road. Internet access was free, but on the slow side. Lighting was bright, and the room was warm. Minor noise from adjacent rooms heard.

Breakfast was free, with a good selection of things to choose from such as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, croissants, jams, juices, coffee etc., BUT, there was a distinct lack of enough places to sit to eat breakfast; however this is at peak breakfast time circa 09:00. Breakfast served from 06:00 to 10:00.

On balance, I was impressed by how good this hotel was; the value for money offered and above all, it's fantastic location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would absolutely stay there again.

Room Tip: Go to breakfast early to make sure you have a place to sit.

I was just like to say what an absolutely fantastic time I had staying at the Hampton by Hilton. My room was absolutely beautiful and my Queen sized bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I felt completely safe which was very important as I was staying alone for three nights. I also felt very welcomed by the staff who were beyond excellent, they went out of their way to help me and just in general provided first class service at all times. I cannot praise them enough! My room was always cleaned perfectly and efficiently, there was free internet access and a lot of channels on the television. I thought the gym was small but did its job perfectly and of course looked gorgeous. The breakfast in the morning is at a very convenient time (6am - 10am) and I loved the selection of hot food as well as cereals and even little muffins which were lovely! What a fantastic place to stay, I miss my room (504) already and will, without a doubt ,be staying there again. What an absolute pleasure and fantastic value for money!
