good value for money for business trip. However food menu is non existent. very little choice.
staff very freindly and room clean and pleasant. ok for business but not pleasure!! bar area was very quiet and playing xmas songs in January!

The hotel is fairly new,so the rooms are comfortable,but the noise from guests slamming doors,banging on the floors above, until about 6 in the morning means you wont enjoy your stay here, you will be shattered the next day due to lack of sleep !
The breakfast - (boxed cereals fine) english breakfast - cheap & horrible tasting products, I think even my dog would have turned her nose up at the offering.
The local staff were friendly & polite,but the reception staff (not local by accent) need to redue their nvq level1 in working in the service industry,i.e sevice with a smile,politeness,manners and little words like please & thank you.
Won't be staying here again,theres alot of choice in Liverpool with local staff who are usually very friendly !

Yes, sliding glass doors on the bathroom with gaps at either end made for uncomfortable lack of privacy, especially as the room door opened right at the bathroom entrance. Perhaps adding a curtain across the bathroom entrance would help the privacy aspect.
Rooms are kind of tight if sofa bed is used, otherwise not bad.
The hotel was a short walk to the Albert Docks with restaurants, pubs and museums and to the City Center with a multitude of shopping, dining, drinking, and entertainment venues.
The Baltic Fleet pub directly across the street was a great place to start or end your day out.
The bar area at the hotel was also a nice place to hang especially at 3 in the morning on New Years with the Norwegians. Cheers Olav.

We had a very nice one night stay and this hotel is in the perfect location for getting to see Liverpool for the first time. We found the reception staff very helpful and the standard of the public areas was welcoming sight on arrival, as i do believe the first impressions do count.
This hotel was also very good value for money, Especially as we stayed on a Saturday night.
We will be back.
