My partner and I have visited this place about 6-8times over the past few years and have usually loved it! The menu choices available are varied and we have brought several friends and family members and they've also loved the food! However, I really regret to say that the service at HOST is disappointing and can sometimes effect the experience in a negative manner. On one occasion, on a very quiet evening, there were only two tables of people with more staff working, yet the service was delayed and disappointing. It's such a shame and this could quite easily be resolved, perhaps more training??
I also find it strange that people have commented on this before in the reviews and yet nothing really seems to have changed? One of the nibbles we ordered (spicy popcorn of some sort) honestly tasted just like butterkist popcorn, which is fine, but I don't think that is what it should have tasted like! When we were asked if we enjoyed the meal we replied that the meal was fine but that perhaps the nibbles could be better/changed. The waitress didn't really know what to do with this information, when it should have been the restaurant's duty to improve upon this.
We keep going back because of the great food, but because of the bad service this last time, I don't think we will be visiting again.
