“Another Brilliant Visit !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

this is our second visit to Panoramic, Liverpool and again it didnt disappoint. This time round we were there celebrating our 11 year olds birthday with a few of his close friends. We decided on the bar menu this time, there was a good selection on the menu and the prices really good (average £10 each). When the food arrived on lovely wooden amd slate boards it smelt delicious. The boys had ordered Fish and Chips, My husband ordered the trio of burgers and I ordered the smoked peppered Makerel, thumbs up all round. The food, you could tell was cooked fresh and was lovely and hot, i think the six empty plates at the end of the meal would tell you how good and well recieved the food was. We were about to ask for the bill when a member of staff walked over with a plate, they had heard it was our sons birthday and had made him a plate of bite size deserts with Happy Birthday written in melted chocolate, this made our sons day.
Our whole experience was fantastic, from the staff to the food we couldnt fault one thing.
Highly recommended place to Visit x

“Could do better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

I am somewhat frustrated with Panoramic 34 as I expected much more than when was delivered. Positives first, good service and atmosphere, very nice place to enjoy your meal. Negatives, good or great restaurant get the basics right and usually delivery or exceed customers expectations. But here, just simple little things let the place down. if you serve veg crisps make sure they're crisp, don't serve luke warm mains on cold plates, season the food, my lamb was not seasoned, look how good restaurants present food, the first taste is with the eye, don't serve a pre-desert in a glass where the spoon you provide doesn't reach the bottom of the glass !! If you put cheese course on the menu without any more info, then make sure the waiters can explain what cheese you will get, then again see how good restaurants serve cheese boards these days, not just carr's crackers, that's lazy, and the cheese basic. The sweet desert we had was very good. No petit-fours with coffee. It is very simple things that are easily rectified that let Panoramic 34 down and that is what's so frustrating.

“Geat views over Liverpool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

We visited here with friends as they discovered this little gem at Christmas. It is on the 34rd floor of the West Tower block where a few of the big footballers have an appartments

You need to book over the telephone and they take your order. Once you pick the date and time make sure you turn up (within 15 mins of the time agreed) as other wise you will get charged £10 for each seat you should have been sat on.

You would never think on entering the building that there is such a nice restauant at the top. The pass from reception round to the lifts and enter the lifts to the 34th floor. When the lift opens the lady knows your name and it is all very personal as you have prebooked.
We were escourted to the seating area as were had not booked a table to eat. Views were great!!
Two cocktails and two pints of bottled beer was approx £32.00. They do not do draught beers or let people stand at the bar hence why you have to book.
You can walk through to the dining room and the views over the Mersey and the Liver Building and the docs are just beautifull. The Restaurant and the seating area are roof to floor glass it makes your feet tingle as you look down as you are that high up.
The food we saw coming out on the tables near us looked lovely Fish and 8 chuncky chips and a small pot of peas £9.50.
Well worth a visit just remember to pre book your table.

“Great food, service and fantastic views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Four of us had a wonderful meal here on a misty Saturday night. The table looked out towards the Liver Buildings and there couldn't have been a better backdrop to a wonderful meal. The Haddock and poached egg was superb but I went for the Duck breast, which was the winner!
To accompany these we had a nice, not overly expensive, bottle of NZ Sauvignon Blanc.
The main courses arrived, unusually nowadays together, and looked superb. The Halibut was served deliciously crisp on top and had great flavour,. The Lamb Cannon was very good but the Cod was a slight disappointment, not piping hot. A small niggle. The winner on the mains however was the Fillet of beef. More of the Sauvignon and a glass of red for the steak eater. The four of us then shared the assiete desert, heavenly!
Overall, the service was very attentive, the food was superb and the view and surroundings were amazing....

“Great meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

It was my girlfriends 30th birthday last night so we went for a nice meal and a great view. We got greeted and offered champagne to start off our special night. We both had a starter and a main and both of us just melted with the food-it was gorgeous. We even got an amuse bouche in between courses. Had some excellent red wine, and pre desserts and a dessert. Now yes it was a bit pricey but thats what you expect for the quality we got. We were at a window seat with an amazing view even though we had only booked 2-3 weeks before. The service was excellent, we were checked on a few times, but mostly we felt like the only people in the room even though the restaurant was quite busy, the music was nice and low so we could actually have a conversation. I think we will both return for more important dates. Thank you Panoramic!
