Went to Bella Italia last night, with a friend on an early bird, pre cinema meal. We didn't book. The restaurant was quite busy and we were seated at a table near the kitchen pass, which made us feel slightly in the way.
After about 7 minutes or so, we were approached for drinks by the charming and hospitable manager who agreed that we should move to a more suitable table near the bar. Again, it wasn't the most ideal, but it was better than the table we were sat at. We were given new menus and, again, it took about 10 minutes before someone came over to the table to take our order.
The wait for the food wasn't very long, but it was very average. The spaghetti bolognese had very runny sauce and minimal beef, the pasta being cold. The pizza came out a tad overcooked and very crispy.
Again, the manager asked us several times if everything was okay but it did take a while for the bill to arrive and for them to come over with the credit card machine.
