I chose to go here for reasons of nostalgia - having some fond personal memories - but it was not really very good.
My own feeling is that it typifies what other nationalities say about British food. The cook's skill is limited to shredding lettuce, dicing tomato, putting a spoonful of prepackaged sauce in a small steel dish and deep frying something from the freezer. They can do better and the peppers and onions on the fajita I had were perfect. Sadly, that was the only thing that was - although I suspect they could have done better with a decent piece of beef for the fajitas because it was a ncely cooked piece of shoeleather.
For the rest of it - it seemed largely to be open the freezer and chuck something breaded into the fyer and serve with a bit of lettuce tomato and something to disguise the taste of oil.
Sorry - but give the guys in the kitchen a break and let them serve more like the peppers and onions and some real beef.
