We chose this pub for a Sunday lunch because it's in a pretty village near to Bradgate park. Inside has a traditional pub feel, food was excellent - the service was not particularly fast but that's not really the point of Sunday lunch is it? Our party sampled the pork with crackling, battered fish and chips and the honey roast ham with duck egg and hand-cut chips - all generous portions and well presented. Even in October the pub was busy, so I'd recommend making a reservation. Menu can be found on pub's own website. Was exactly what we all needed.
