“History Comes Alive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

We have visited the area several times in the last six years and never tire of this exhibit.

The location is beautiful. Museum is totally interactive which is great for children and those (like us) who didn't have a great grasp of this period of history and its significance.

Loads to amuse outwith the museum itself particularly if you arrive on a day when the historic village is in full swing.

Café is very good too and the Sunday roasts are fab.

Worth a visit. At least once.

“History Came to life”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

We visited the center after the discovery of Richard III remains were found in Leicester. It was not long after they discovered the true location of the battle. The visitors center is terrific with lots of exhibits to see. There was a school trip in at the same time and the children were put into two side to re-enact the battle. Every one was so helpful.

“Well run & very informative visitor centre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Well run & very informative visitor centre. The staff were excellent & a "mine of information". The kids loved the area where they could dress up in armour, chain mail & dresses from this very important historical era

“Great bit of History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Just off the A5 this attraction is well worth the slight detour. Interesting History about King Richard111 and the opportunity nearby to go for a short trip on an old steam train. Was so good to see youngsters involved in the running of this scheme (as volunteers) - bodes well for the future of these restored gems! Well done all concerned!

“Interesting Battle Site”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

Bosworth has gained new fame since the discovery of the bones of Richard III in Leicester. Even though we visited on a weekend with nice weather it wasn't very crowded. When you go, be sure to pay the extra for the guided walk and the falconry display. Both were will worth the extra costs.
