This place is a bit unusual and has its idiosyncrasies but all in all is one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in Leicester.
To be fair - it is tucked away in a back street in what looks to be quite a rough area. The decor is crazy - think working men's club/70s pub but covered in portraits of Bollywood stars. Service can be a bit erratic and the waiting time never seems to be the same, and when it's busy can be rather long.
BUT. I've been many times and all of the food has been delicious. Most of the mains are under £10, which includes rice and a lovely big fresh naan alongside. I find this to be plenty but there is also an option to make most dishes 'large' for a pound or two more, so portion sizes are definitely not a problem. A huge menu with tons of options for styles and flavours of curry.
All in all don't expect silver service but the food is a bargain and totally worth it.
