“"Oh my god"”

ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.....!
This was the worst hotel my family has ever stopped in,we were met at the door by Yvonne a pleasant lady who was little seen or heard ,she explained to us we were the only guests in the Hotel and that there was no heating on any where it was freezing, we enquired about Mrs Kelly she explained there had been a family bereavement and was not available, she escorted us to our family room 30..........! avoid at all costs, to say it was very poor condition would be an understatement if it was a charity shop they would throw the furniture away very shabby, chipped, broken, filthy headboards, worn carpets a door that had been kicked in at some point, it looked like it was decorated by the local blind school as there was paint everywhere, the suspended ceiling was disgusting giving off no light at all, the bathroom was from another dimension there was carpet around the toilet who knows what had been overshot and soaked into it over the years

we were very disappointed with the facilities however we were given a portable heater in the room to take the chill off this only added to the confinement we felt because when you opened the bedroom door you got an icy blast from the corridor, there was a television in the room the size of a portable dvd player, the problem was it was fixed to the wall behind the bed so you could not see it anyway very disappointing and upsetting.

on a plus point you got a standard breakfast nothing special, parking, good central location
this is a very damning review as I do not want anyone to have the same experience as my family, we need to raise standards if you are not bothered about any conditions then this is for you.

you have been warned.

Me and the boys have stayed here for years, always in october. This is your typical Blackpool hotel. It offers just what you need for a comfortable stay, room, shower and a bar to drink in when you have finished with the night life. The food is good and the staff serving you are always pleasant. The whole family and staff make you welcome at all hours of the day and night. If your after a basic hotel, with just what you need to help enjoy your weekend away with the Girls or boys, then this is your place. If you want a posh, fancy hotel, with bell boys to carry your luggage, and fancy bog roll to wipe ya back side on, then i suggest you book the hilton or the marriott somewhere, but please dont dis-respect this hotel and what june, her family and staff do to make the stay pleasant.

i cant say enough about this place...nothing good though.my god, the room was a tip, blood stained sheets, tv the size of a postage stamp that faced the wall, awful bathroom.and generally run down to a very high standard!
Noise Noise Noise, i now know where the Damned wrote their song...
Mind blowing, all night long, scary when some guys tried get in at 7am pissed up.
Never staying again, ever ever ever.

I haven't got a good word to say about this hotel
There was drug dealing & prostitution
All night drinking as if it was an open house ( very, very noisy)
When i complained i was told ( what do you expect because it's a week end )
The room was very very dirty with holes in the wall & ceiling
The shower room was disgusting there was mould on the shower curtain & the ceiling tiles were falling down.

Ok, it was the weekend of the Rebellion festival, so we knew it would be a bit lively, but nothing prepared us for the hell on earth that is the Orbiston.
The rooms are foul, dirty, small, the shower burnt me, full of flies, urine stains.
The noise!!! The bar is open all night, hundreds of people from all over come here and stay until breakfast. If they are not trying to get in your room, they have set up in the downstairs toilets with their mobile drug shops.
There is 'no' chance of any sleep, none, even the woman who ran the hotel (ran? Well she was there a couple of times) said we shouldn't have expected any sleep due to the festival being on.
Don't stay here.
Ever.

We stay at this hotel on a yearly basis for an event in blackpool, an couldn't ask for more than the fantastic location, great breakfast, clean rooms and Mrs. June Kelly.
