“A good hotel with nice hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013 via mobile

Stumbled across this hotel when looking at the last minute, what a good find. We were welcomed by Christine who took us to a very clean an comfortable 4poster bedroom, breakfast one of the best we have had in a long time. Location far enough away from the noise of the town center, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable with nice hosts choose the kings court hotel we will be back.

Stayed here a few weeks now and never have any problems. Chris & Christine really make you feel welcome and provide a really nice breakfast.
Away from the hustle and bustle and has plenty of lovely places near by for eating out.
If your looking for somewhere clean and relaxing to stay give this a go.

This hotel was lovely - very clean and fresh. Were greeted by Chris who showed us where we could park, then christine asked what we would like for breakfast. This is so much better than just been given the "standard" breakfast - my 7 year old doesnt eat a great deal so was good that food wasnt wasted! the room was comfortable - the beds were the best I've slept on bar my own. the en-suite was small but perfectly adequate for the stay, but did have plenty of shelving - too many hotels have nowhere to put toilettires. The location was first class - a tram stop was at the end of the road which meant no driving for the stay. It was in a quiet part of Blackpool, would definitely go again and recommend already to friends. My daughter loved the stay and if she's happy then we all are. Thank you

Room Tip: Room 3 is on the rear of the hotel and is quiet

Stayed here with my partner for 2 nights at the end of August. The place is well maintained and the only thing my partner complained about was the size of our room - I had no issue with it as I don't go away to spend a lot of time in the room. The room met all the criteria I had for it - clean, tidy, no insects and no nasty smells.

Breakfast, which was included in the price was nice and set you up for the day, the only thing I would say was that I would have liked more juice ( maybe I would have got more if I'd asked, but I never asked).

After the first night We were asked if we had been disturbed during the night as it seems one of the guests had been either arguing or shouting - we never heard anything. Christine, the land lady, did say that she was going to have a word with them none the less as she wasn't willing to have that sort of behaviour as it could upset other guests.

LOCATION - it's on the outskirts of Blackpool, on the opposite end from the Pleasure Beach and It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the Tower from the hotel, but if you don't want to walk there is a tram stop about 200 metres from the front door.best thing is that because of the location you don't get the usual noise from stag or hen parties.
PARKING - it's on street and from the look of things I think it could be a bit hit and miss as to whether you would get a space or not. We were lucky enough to get a space just outside of the building and the car stayed there until we left.
WIFI - can only judge this on the room we had, the reception was good as was the speed. I used speed test.net and it said the connection speed was 11 meg downstream, so no issues there.

Over all this place was good value for money and I would have no problems recommending it to someone looking for some where to stay.

Sorry that we were unable too change your room to a bigger room, but the larger family room was already been used by other guests with 3 children who had booked for 7 nights,,
no one has said that the room you had was small this is the 1st time in 11 years
But we are pleased you enjoyed your stay & we do like to hear what our guests say
Hope to see you all again 1 day
Thank you

Travelled to Blackpool and luckily stumbled across this hotel in the quieter North shore of the town, tram stop is at the end of the street, taking us right into the centre with no fuss. Christine and Chis are the owners and both were very friendly stopping to chat and made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were very filling and fresh. Great nights sleep. We had the family room, which was ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel was very clean and well maintained to a high standard.
