We stayed in this hotel from the 3rd to the 7th September, the staff are really nice and helpful, although the rooms are clean, the rest of the hotel could do with decorating, the seats in the lounge need renewing as the springs were coming through.

We were in room 120 and 121 I would not accept these rooms as the music was really loud and went on till well after midnight, we did have a word with the manager and he would of moved us but we needed two rooms next to each other and they didnt have them, we were with my mother who is 85 and didn't want to stay up everynight till well after midnight, it was not worth trying to go to bed as we would not be able to get to sleep.

As for the food this is not home made food, one night I had Braised steak with smash potato I would not expect to be given that in a hotel, the breakfast was ok although the eggs were always hard. The staff in the dining room were really helpful and made sure my husband all ways got something as he is very fussy.

Trying to park in this hotel is not easy either, we went out and could never get parked when we came back, then the day we were leaving we were all ready to go only to find out we were blocked in, when i asked whos car it was, it was the managers car.

I would not stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Dont accept rooms 120 or 121 as you will have no sleep till well after midnight.

A huge thanks to all the staff at the Boston Hotel who went out of there way to attend to anything we required, especially Joe our waiter who was always very helpful and friendly & Maggie who cooked up some lovely meals which my friends and i thoroughly enjoyed. Our rooms were very clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. We were well entertained every evening especially by Aideen & Jimmy Nairn. We will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Blackpool and look forward to staying there again. Rowan 4 - Blane 1

Room Tip: room 312 with a sea view was more spacious than some of the other double rooms

We had a wonderful time at the Boston Hotel, the staff were great and the meals were excellent. Rooms were lovely and a good variety of entertainment. The receptionist went out of her way to help guests. We will definitely be back, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Wonderful view from the front.

Had a three night stay here and found it very nice. I have to say though the food was not very good. The chef's response to "have you any salad dressing?" a wee bit sad. "no but wev'e got mayo an' stuff" does not fit the bill. Note to Maggie, 4 parts Olive Oil, 1 part lemon juice and a drop of mustard and there you have it, the ideal stuff to liven up your sad, dry lettuce leaves. The staff were FAB, so well done to Natalie and Joe. You were a delight. Recent refurb was a bit of a let down though. Electric socket in the bathroom was hanging off the wall, sink plug broken and shower didn't work so get your money back Boston the contractors were rubbish. Staff were really great so that made up for the very poor standard of the food. School dinners were never this bad. Second note too Maggie, veg. does not need to be boiled for three hours and scrambled eggs do not get made in the oven!

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back and away from the lift.
