“Little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2014

Stated for 1 night. Excellent value for money. Lovely clean warm room. Dave was very helpful and friendly. Ideal place as away from the hustle and bustle but only a short walk to all attractions. We go quite often for 1 night and will definitely be going here again. Lovely breakfast in the morning

Stayed here for one night on Saturday taking four rooms for our families, we had no issues with cleanliness, and Dave came to every room and made sure everything was ok, present and correct. There is no bar but he had no issues with us having a late night quiet drink in the pool room and even offered to put our cans in the fridge. One room was kept awake by noise from the hotel next door and then the staff in courtyard early morning was a bit loud. Breakfast was standard stuff but with no complaints. We got one car parked outside and one round the corner, but the hotel had no car park and we may have had to pay for a park on another night. We also left our cars whilst we walked to the pleasure beach a mere 5 minutes away.

Just got back today after staying two nights during the illuminations. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we stayed in a four poster bed room which had a tv, kettle, cups, two chairs and obviously the bed! There was also an ensuite shower which was also very clean.

The breakfast, which is included, was lovely. It consisted of a selection of cereals, a selection of drinks and a full English if wanted. You could also just order single items, for example, beans on toast if you wished. Tea and coffee was offered and there was toast brought to the table with a variety of spreads.

The hotel is in an excellent location for whatever you want to do in Blackpool - very near the pleasure beach and south pier and also the tram stops. The tower etc. is about a half an hour walk away but is easily reached by trams which seemed regular.

Overall a pleasant stay and pleasant hosts, would definitely recommend.

Hi my family and I stayed for 1 night during the illuminations and it was really great- we were greated by Dave who truely is a nice guy - a true professional who understands customer service and the hotel trade. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he pleases all. My kids loved him too. My son drinks alot of milk so often we buy a bottle which Dave offered to keep in his fridge so it would stay good and collect as and when we needed it.
We had a double bed and bunk bed in the room with a sink, there was a sep shower and toilet and towels provided
The room was great with all facilties, sheets smelt fresh, carpets clean, nice furniture and breakfast was superbly cooked. the girl who servied us in the morning was also nice and we asked for a refil coffee and toast and it wasnt trouble for her. We were all Vegetarian and Dave made us Vege sausgaes and asked us if we would like anything else as he would buy it in - how good is that? Brilliant Service
The B&b also has microwave you can use if you wanted to bring a ready meal rather than fish and chips which is everywhere in Blackpool !
Parking was across the street for free and Dave offered to move his car so ours could be closer to the hotel but it was fine and the car was just s few cars away from his so no bother at all. Dave was good to advise us of places to go, quickest and cheapest way to do things.
There are plenty of tourise leaflets in the foyer so you can choose things to do - coupled with Dave's advise if you need it
the location of the hotel is near South pier towards the pleasure beach - central peir is about 20-30 mins walk from the B&B - its an excellent location to stay
We all had a lovely time and my children now are open to staying in B&B having had such a good experience at this one
definately be back and try it. you wont be disappointed
thank you Dave

Fantastic in every aspect. The owners are great and help with every matter possible. They are simply genuine and down to earth people who couldn't do enough for others. The hotel itself is everything you need for a stay in Blackpool.

Only stayed for one night there was 3 of us. Dave was really friendly and approachable and nothin was too much trouble! Breakfast was perfectly cooked and as we were the only residents he allowed us to tell him what time we'd be ready for breakfast. Just about within walking distance of everything. Will be staying again.
