“Best Guest House in Blackpool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

We have just returned from spending four nights at the Branston Lodge from 15th to 19th October. We booked three rooms, This is our fourth year we have been staying with them. Mike and Sally run a fantastic place for you to stay. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. The rooms are spacious, clean and spotless. From arrival till you leave their hospitality is exceptional. They treat you like you are a member of the family. Nothing is too much trouble. This guest house would suit families, couples or pensioners as they have a ground floor room for people with mobility problems. Mike and Sally have parking round the back of their premises for a few cars or you can park on the street or in the pay as you go car park nearby. They were able to assist with telling us where to buy our tram passes and gave information on what shows were still on. This place is a wee gem as it is a place should all try. Don't waste your time with other premises when you can get treated like royalty with Mike and Sally. Once again thank you for the great time we all had. Your hard work is appreciated, see you next year again! Pryde family xx

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent, people with problems with mobility should book room one on the ground floor...

We have just returned from 2 nights at Branston Lodge with our whole family of 12. Grandad down to granddaughter ages from 76 to 6 and we all had a wonderful time.Mike and Sally can not do enough for you and are the perfect hosts. The 5 rooms we had were all spotless and very nicely decorated with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and a real treat. We parked our three cars at the back with no problem. If you are looking for a great place to stop in Blackpool then this is it. We are all hoping to go back again next year and will not stop anywhere else. Thanks Mike and Sally

Room Tip: all rooms are great. Myself and my husband stopped in room 5

Stayed 4th - 8th October, our 1st visit to Branston Lodge and it will not be the last. Mike and Sally were great, from the moment we arrived until we left. We had a cup of tea on arrival and a chat with them, they gave us details of were to to buy tram tickets, which are discounted if bought before you use the trams. The room we lovely, clean, comfortable beds, everything we needed was there. breakfasts were great, nothing was too much trouble, the hairdryer in my room failed to work one morning, Sally promptly sorted me out with another one. Could go on, but try this wonderful place yourself, I am sure you will love it. Thanks Mike and Sally for welcoming us to Branson Lodge, will visit again.

This was our first stay at the Branston Lodge and we will be returning again very soon. Sally and Mike are the perfect hosts, welcoming us as soon as we arrived with tea and coffee. Nothing was too much trouble and the information they gave, on things to do and places to go, made our holiday much more enjoyable. The rooms are immaculate and very spacious and the full English breakfast excellent. So thank you Sally and Mike, you both truely made us feel at home.

From the moment we arrived my daughter and I were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts are ample and beautifully cooked. Literally just around the corner from the Pleasure Beach The Branston is ideally placed for exploring all that Blackpool has to offer. I would highly recommend this establishment.

We were coming up to Blackpool for football and am so glad we booked into Branston Lodge. I would simply echo everything that has already been said about Mike and Sally - they really are very welcoming and helpful! Our room was great- spotlessly clean - excellent facilities - very comfy beds. The Guest House is very well maintained. It is close to the seafront but in a quiet location. Excellent breakfast too. A great place to stay!
