The Doric changed hands a few years ago and it has really gone off.
Hughie and David have gone from running the restaurant and boy can you tell .....no class at all .

Hughie and David ran it like clockwork and with style .

Dont bother with The Doric you will only be regret it .

We have used it for many years ,but never again.

Stayed in August 2006 for one night. This is a typically average Blackpool Hotel, OK but nothing special. We has a large front facing sea view room which was clean but had dated furnishings and decor with blankets for the bedding, not duvets. Breakfast and service were good. Hotel is typical of Blackpool, old fashioned and lacking in atmosphere. Clientele were generally pensioners on a coach holiday staying for a few days. If you are looking for something a lot better try the Big Blue.
