My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a last-minute weekend in Blackpool in July 2007 at the King Edward. The experience matched previous Trip Advisor reviews in that we were well looked after by Keith and Angela. We arrived in a downpour and were immediately offered complimentary tea or coffee. The room was as expected in this price range - compact, clean, comfortable and with a good en-suite. Breakfasts and dinners were good value and cooked-to-order. We particularly enjoyed the company of other guests, and Monty the talking parrott, in Keith's well-stocked bar (and sampled his range of premium whiskies!) We're happy to recommend a stay at the King Edward.
