“Excellent Once again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Once again, this Premier Inn was Excellent. 2 fans provided in the room and the room staff closed the curtains which helped to keep the heat down. Thomas the receptionist was charming, but totally overworked. The hotel was full, and the poor guy was totally rushed off his feet.
Will stay here again

Lovely clean rooms , great restaurant/pub next door with nice food , only bit that really let it down was the unhelpful grumpy member of staff which seemed to sigh every time you asked her something , if she had smiled her face would have cracked and that was what 'welcomed' us to the hotel !

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with family. The temperatures within the hotel were overpowering!! We did have 2 fans in our room but they had very little effect due to how hot it was!! Very dissapointing because the hotel itself is lovely, staff were friendly and rooms were very clean. Breakfast at The Outside Inn was lovely. Maybe if we were staying for 1 night it would have been bareable but certainly not for 2 nights. Very dissapointing that Premier Inn Customer Services have not responded to the 2 e-mails I have sent to them relating to this. I have stayed in a number of Premier Inns over recent years and have been unable to fault any aspect of them. I have had to rate the sleep quality as terrible simply due to us being unable to sleep due to how hot it was. We did stay when temperatures were high (although not the highest) outside so I did expect that the hotel would be warm/hot inside but even as temperatures fell outside in an evening and jackets were needed this did not seem to cool the inside of the hotel down (particularly the rooms).

Hotel okay.
Hardly saw any members of staff during stay.
Breakfast was appalling - took 30 mins to take order, breakfast almost cold when finally arrived - kids running about everywhere - no cups for coffee - no glasses for juice.

Stayed for 2 days from the 26th july in a family room with our 2 granddaughters aged 6 & 2 on arrival we were greeted in a very friendly professional manner. The room was clean, spacious and very clean. The only down side was that the room was very hot and could do with air conditioning

Whenever we met any of the staff they always asked if we were ok and if we needed anything
on the first night our 6 yr old was sick in the bathroom went down to reception and the lady on there could not have been more helpful 24 hrs reception is a plus point

Booked an evening meal at the pub next door found the place very busy pre booked high chair which they didnt have on arrival nearly finished our meal by the time it came the place was dark and needed to be brightened up had breakfast which was ok
The place was in a good position for Blackpool and a very high standard would return and book in at other premier innsThankyou to all staff who were all fantastic

Arrived for our nights stay after our our trip to Blackpool. We arrived around 18,00 and found the man on reception pleasant but I was disappointed he did not tell us about the lift to the second floor were our room was, he sent us down the hall to the stairs. We had shopping and bags to take up to our room as well as a 5 year old and a tired 2 year old. Knowledge of the lift would have been helpful to say the least. After getting to our room it was pleasant and clean as I have always found with Premier Inns. The room had some fans to cool the room down as it was a hot day but can I ask why I could not turn the heating down or off as it was to hot especially with the recent weather we have been having. After checking in we went next door to the Wacky Warehouse for a few drinks and a little bit of food. Excellent! Very good. My 5 year old wanted to burn some more energy off so we went in to the children`s play area which was very good and clean. After a long day in Blackpool we decided we would go to bed (21.00) exhausted, only to be woken by the irresponsible people above who let there children run up and down and jump up and down the room at 22.00. (Floors are paper thin.) After being woken by this I rang reception who told me he would deal with the noise. This continued till 23.00 and I was not happy as my 2 year old then woke up crying as the jumping had eventually startled her. I know all kids get excited but parents have the decency to respect other people. Its called being a responsible adult obviously you know nothing about. Then when we got of to sleep again someone decided to slam shut there door opposite our room so awake again (23.30). The goodnight guarantee was applied here as it is at all Premier Inns. I received a full refund but its not the Premier inn`s fault that my family did not sleep well but some [--] above who can`t control there children.
