“Fabby Time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012

Just back again with Blackpool Breaks stayed in this fantastic hotel. This is our second visit and already looking forward to returning again next year. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are of good size and nicely decorated and kept in pristine condition. The restaurant staff were marvellous as was the food with very good portions plenty choices and excellent service. Only small gripe now have to queue for cooked breakfast and at weekends can be exceptionally busy it was much nicer when it was table service. Bar staff were also very good and Nigel is excellent with his good sense of humour and care for the customers. Also speedy check in and helpful at the reception. The hotel does boast some very good evening entertainment so all round as I said an excellent stay was had by all. We were a group of seven ladies aged from (30's to cheeky 50's) and all experienced a great stay so thank you to all the hard working staff at this lovely hotel.

Just back and although the hotel was nice it was full of oaps never saw anyone under 60 Barr the last day.... It's average on decor but Blackpool your never gona get modern unless yu go to a travelodge ... Our room was nice ... Double bed flat screen tele and a nice wee bathroom ...

The staff... Well on checking in the young lad that served us was lovely ... But there was one woman with a dark bob who just Grled at everyone and looked crabbit every time we saw her... But the bar an restaurant staff were lovely....

Location .. It was perfect right in the middle of the pleasure beach and bpool tower... Location was fab...

Overall was a nice stay just wouldn't go if your young as we are 23 and 27 and felt like toddlers ... Would recommend for family's and older couples etc ....

This hotel on the front at Blackpool is well placed for the tower, Shops, Plreaseure Beach all within walking distance.
The bus stop is right outside and tram stop 20 yards away to travel further say to Fleetwood or Clevelys.

Inside most rooms are ok but I have in the past had rooms directly over one of the two concert rooms this required me to stay until the last of the Disco after the three turns have finished usually midnight, most entertainment is first class with at least one "take off" each week or weekend.

The food is superb serve yourself breakfast and waiter/waitress service for evening meal, the choice for evening meal runs to at least 20 different do try the curry (a special at the bottom of menu) you pick your evening meal at breakfaat just tick what you like and exchange vegetables or potatoes as you see fit.

I cannot fault the hotel who have cheap apecials at quieter times of year so go on give it a try, BUT look at your room before you book if you would like a early night.

Room Tip: as said previously look and book by room number

This is the third time we have brought a coach party to the Lyndene and as usual the rooms were spotless, the entertainment excellent (we would however like more sequence dancing in the evening with music by organist Tony Blackburn), the food was again excellent and plenty of it. Buffet type breakfast was good idea.Staff were all helpful in restaurant, nothing too much trouble.
Would be added incentive to bring coach party if organizer had concession on room rate.
Do not understand how some travellers find fault, all of our party were very satisfied and would return again. 100 members over three years.

Have stayed in the lyndene several times, good value for money, but restaurant and food and service at meal times dissapointing this stay .Repetitive menu, luke warm food, very disorganized and generally staff appear very unhappy. Would not reccomend evening meal!! Plus side is good entertainment!

This hotel is fantastic value for money. Rooms are modern, well maintained and spotless! Staff are welcoming, friendly and go out of their way to assist you! This is my second time staying here & i would not stay at any other hotel in Blackpool. I was totaly shocked by the unfair and in my opinion untrue bad reviews on here! Food/entertainment 1st class. Love this hotel!!! :o)
