“Still the best”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2012

Have stayed at the Lyndene now for about 14 years, sometimes twice a year. This time we stayed from Friday 11th May - Friday 18th May. Check-in was most professional. Room was very clean. Food again was excellant. However.........breakfast is buffet style........ If you want waiter service at breakfast, make sure you inform reception on check-in. You will then be allocated either the Connaught Restaurant or the upper part of the Washington Restaurant. Dinner is still waiter service wherever you are. Entertainment was very good particularly the tribute acts and the Chicago music show. Bar prices are quite good £2.60 pint of bitter, bar service can be a little slow when busy. Overall...............still the best on the Fylde coast............Give it a try.

Seven of us stayed there last year with the ages ranging from 13 to 77. Location of the hotel is excellent as is the entertainment. The rooms were typical Blackpool but were comfort enough. Three of us were in a family room and it was a good size. The double rooms were small. The family room could have done with updating. The entertainment will excellent with two large function halls and if you missed it in one hall it was in the other at a later time.Food was good but it would have been better if they were more flexible on the times. You were given set times for dinner so from that aspect you were kind of stuck to a timetable. Staff were very helpful. Would recommend and definately go back for the entertainment. The bar also stayed opened as long as you were buying drink.

Room Tip: The sea view rooms I was in had a beautiful view but were very small. Perhaps it would be better to...

My Wife and I stayed in February and everything about the 2 night stay was professional, the acts were superb and the staff were courteous in the extreme.Room was comfy, warm and quiet...The bathroom was bigger than some changing rooms Ive been in at cricket. We met some really great people and have re-booked with our friends from Liverpool to return in November..if not before.

We had a brilliant stay at the Lyndene last August. Room was comfortable - though the shower didn't work very well :( ... overall the hotel was lovely. The staff were brilliant and the food fantastic. Will definitely go again. The view was brilliant!

Room Tip: The only tip would be not to go for a top floor room as the water pump wasn't that great - the s...
