My son (10 yrs) and I stayed at The Pembroke this month (November) during one of their Christmas Shopping Weekend Specials and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The standard of accommodation was very high and the welcome pack included all you need for the morning after - toothbrush & paste, razor & shaving cream for those 'whoops I forgot' moments.
The hosts Michael, Alan and Pat were all extremely friendly and accommodating to all our needs and made our stay very enjoyable.
From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and as though we had known them forever. Our bags were taken up to our room. We were shown were the DVD library for extra TV time, but there was so much entertainment that we had no time for TV!!!
The food was excellent and the service superb. We are definitely going to return.

My husband and two friends stayed at the Pembroke for two nights and found everything wonderful all the little personal touches make it so homely the hotel is spotless and the food is wonderful especially the homemade jams and marmalades Alan and Michael are very good hosts who can't do enough for you - Can fully understand why the hotel has won all the awards would most certanly return here but for longer next time.

Reviewer: Visitors to see the lights.
We have just returned from a weekend in Blackpool. The lights were as good if not better than we saw 10 yrs ago. We booked this hotel on line but the choice was superb. The location, amenities and friendliness made the break for us. The accomodation provides everything you want even to the compliementary toothbrush, something we all forget.The breakfast and service was of the highest quality.If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Blackpool this is the place to book.

If you read my review in 2005 we have been back since and just again for our wedding anniversary 11/8/07.No change at the hotel 5*.Beautiful garden to sit in. Just book it. Price is right. Michael and Alan perfect hosts, Pat 's helping hand a added bonus. Game for a laugh to! Don't be miserable. Enjoy your holiday. There's one thing you won't say on your return home the accommodation was rubbish. Enjoy your holiday. It's up to you!

i have stayed in the hotel twice a year (apr and Oct) and oftem june as well for a weekend. i cannot find fault with the hotel the service excellent and the staff are friendly and efficeint. i would recommend this hotel to anyone
