Booked last minute to see the illuminations during the October half term as a treat for our 5 year old, paid £290 for 2 nights which I thought was expensive but as I had left it to the last minute was happy to pay. The room was really basic and wasn't cleaned well, you can see the window and shower on the photos I have attached. I was also not too sure about the electric shower that had a mains cable running down the wall to the shower, is this safe? The rooms were also cold during the night.
The hotel really needs to be updated or needs to charge based on the standard of accommodation. I have to say that the guy on reception was really friendly, they provided a good breakfast that was served in good time. Unfortunately I wouldn't really want to go back.
