We booked here for a birthday celebration weekend, when we arrived there was no staff at the hotel and unable to contact on the phone when they did turn up we entered the building and the place stunk of urine we were led to the bar area to be greeted by the previous nights takeaway on the sofa dirty underwear on the floor and black bags of rubbish. There was also a pile of bags and god knows what else piled up at the side of the sofa in the window. A cloth of the sofa would go a miss either. It generally looked grimy and the staff looked like they had just come in from a night out clubbing. we also had a problem with the money we had paid, The Manager if thats what she was said we hadn't paid anything then when i could prove it she logged onto a bank account and then gave us our money back so the half an hour we were stood in the place was enough to last us a life time we decided to go elsewhere and not stay in a horrible disgusting place like this even for £15 a night you expect it to at least be clean

We stayed for 1 night and we were amazed how cheap the room was.Plus, its very near from the bus stop so it was an advantage.
What disappoints us was the room was very dirty, the door lock was not safe. The cold water in the bedroom sink wont work.Bed sheets looked like it hasn't been wash. Then it's very noisy. It's very disturbing.
Well, you get what you pay for.. But the staff were friendly..

Go somewhere else - there is a whole town of other hotels that look like they don't smell of piss, and don't have absolutely disgusting showers and toilets (only two per level). We are not high maintenance people and we know it was cheap but this place is an absolute dump. Everything is sticky and unclean, there is a horrible smell as soon as you come in. Rooms are dirty with stains everywhere, cups with stains that I don't even want to guess what they are. Our room view was baisically a dumping ground in the back where they must just open the door and lob all their rubbish out. Hotel full of druggies and smokers. The bar is pretty much the owners living room where they charge a stupid amount for a warm can of lager that smells weird. If this hotel had a basic level of cleanliness it would be ok for what you pay for but we were actually afraid to pull back the duvet on the beds incase we found something disgusting. Bar is 24 hour which means they play loud music for the whole 24 hours regardless of whether anyone in the hotel would like a little bit of sleep. Come to this hotel if you are a 24 hour druggie raver, if not then pay that little bit extra to stay somewhere where you won't come away with flea bites and diseases.

If your a family don't stay here, its scruffy , not the owners fault they have not long took over, the bar is open till 6 am , the mattresses are very uncomfortable nwires sticking out, no wardrobes ,have to put your clothes on floor, it's like a hostel well in ct the hostels are better, do yourself a favour pay the extra to stay elsware, unless u don't mind roughing it.
