“Amazing Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

Today (Sun 19th Jan) my friend and I dined at Rowley' s restaurant. I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I have ever had. For starters I had goats cheese and walnut salad drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Absolutely delicious and portion was generous. For mains I had Pendle chicken served with mash and roasted vegetables. The chicken was so tender and tasty. The whole meal was full of the most delicious flavours. My friend ordered Betty' s olde curry which he thoroughly enjoyed. He described it as perfectly textured and delicately spiced with an abundance of tender chicken breast. A generous portion of delicious cheese and biscuits followed. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and we were able to meet and thank the chef for our amazing meal. Will be back soon.

“Im becoming a regular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

I attended the opening, had my birthday there, took a date, went to the football, just had drinks and all have been great days/nights. Im a very fussy eater and I can't recommend the food enough. I love the Sgt Majors Yorkshire puddings as a snack. The setting is great with a wonderful pitch view. I can recommend events they run such as sign and dine. The live music has been good every time and I'm usually fairly drunk upon leaving and am always treated with a smile and enjoy chatting with all the staff. Im becoming a bit of a local. It always seems to have random celebs in too. I guess if its good enough for them that speaks volumes. A truly great night whether its romance or just great food and a catch up with friends. See you in there

“Excellent food and service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

My wife and I visited Blackpool on 10-11/1/14 to watch our football team play. When we arrived at our hotel (Travelodge) across the street from the football club we asked at the reception about local restaurants and were told to check out Rowleys at the football ground.
I can honestly say that we are glad we did, from entering to leaving the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, the place was not at all busy so getting a table was no problem. We sat and had a drink while looking over the menu which for a couple of fussy eaters like us was perfect, proper British grub without all the mouth melting spicy rubbish that dominates other restaurant menus.
We enjoyed this place so much that we booked a table for lunch before the game next day, lunch was much busier as you would expect on a match day but the service and welcome was just as the previous evening. The food on both visits was fantastic
Try the Liquorice ice cream for dessert, highly recommended.
To top it off Middlesbrough beat Blackpool 2-0.
Next visit to Blackpool we will be staying at this hotel, if it is as good as the restaurant I am already looking forward to it.
I almost forgot, the guy at the next table got down on one knee and proposed to the lady with him which my wife thought was "lovely", he was a Blackpool fan so sorry my team ruined your weekend.

“A little expensive, but a really nice place to eat and drink.”

Really handy if you are staying at the travel lodge south shore as we were. The food is lovely, the staff friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. It is a little expensive though.
