“Adults only - all inclusive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

I previously reviewed this as "the hotel from hell". Not to be beaten, my wife and myself booked a 4 night all inclusive break (adults only) starting 02/12/12. What a difference! The new cafe/ bar area has been well thought out and opening the old partitioned area to become "open plan" when required, has increased seating capacity by at least 40%.

1. Dining room staff fast and incredibly efficient.

2. Food was of a very high standard, with more than enough choices. The chef's signature

dish has to be tried at least once!

3. There were more than sufficient bar staff to cater for the guests.

4. Tram and bus service to the North or South is fantastic, between 12 & 20 minutes for the services.

5. Caberet is a good mix of talent.

6. If you are a Bingo player there are options to play each night (season permitting).

Minus points:

1. Smokers consider they are still entitled to block the entry/exit to the hotel.

Room Tip: For a holiday, a sea view room is a must.

First time been there when its been all inclusive as regular guest I was not looking forward to it.How ever it was great well organised no drunkard people plenty to eat and lovely staff.I would go again when it is all inclusive but would not like it to be that every time especially in the summer.great for winter.

Room Tip: Sea view room 131spacious and close to lift only snag is you pay extra for being sea view

A group of 12 just spent turkey & tinsel at the cliffs, beds so comfortable, food a great choice, weather rather windy to stay the least but most of the time stayed dry thank fully. Bingo was good noney if you are one of the lucky one's but books are pricy £1.oo each. bingo caller needs to go to speck savers to call the correct numbers. Entertainment not the greastest standard see better all inclusive this week which was a bargain for what you got all in all a great few days away.

Group from Wrexham, in 2 coaches, descended on Blackpool for our annual celebrations. The Hotel was the best we have been to. The staff were very good, likewise the accommodation and the food. Drinks were in with the price from 11am till midnight and the range of products were more than acceptable. We had breakfast/lunch and dinner available together with tea and coffee in the lounge throughout the same time period. We also enjoyed the leisure spa facilities.
The hotel is very strategically situated for Blackpool shops and other places of interest. It also has pleasant views over the sea and the North Wales coast. Very very happy with the service.

Room Tip: Get a sea view room if possible

We have been staying at this Hotel for nearly 20 years and return at least 3 times a year, that in its self speaks volumes. You will recieve the best and most attentive service from all departments.I don't want to single out a perticular department but the food is excellent. There is t entertainment each night from top class comedians and singers.
The Cafe bar / Coffee Shop has just had the most stunning makeover that can only be described as stylish and contemporary.
I would highly recommend the cliffs to anybody who appreciates excellent accommadation first class service and family entertainment at an affordable price.
Roll on January to our next visit. Love it

Room Tip: All rooms are very spacious but go for "Sea View"
