This should certainly not be classed as a bed and breakfast. It was a very run down hostel at very best. A complete refurbish from top to bottom is needed. Breakfast was served 8-9 only and was 2 streets away. Didnt expect much for the money but the whole place was not even clean. The only good thing about it was the location. Would definitly not recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: There isnt a good room.

OMG this place was worse than faulty towers! the female owner was sat on the front step with a dirty dressing-gown and pyjamas on smoking a cigarette when we arrived at 1.00pm! it didnt give us much confidence! the whole place smelt of a mixture of damp, stale cigarette smoke, urine and just complete dirt! the toilet was in a cupboard which was right next to my room, so i could hear AND smell everything!!! the shower was dirty with other peoples hair stuck to the screen, stayed well away from that!. The double room i was in was tiny with an old fashioned 70s pink sink(which was grimey) and a rackety old wardrobe (with no coat hangers). the window would totally break every health and safety rule going, it was kept open with a small piece of wood and the frame and glass were really dirty and falling apart, god only knows the last time they were cleaned. The whole place was really disgusting and they should have paid us to stay there! we paid for breakfast only to be told we had to walk 2 streets away to a cafe to get it, NOT GOOD!!!!!!! so we didnt bother, probably would have only got food poisoning any way! PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH AND WELL-BEING.............STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

The best thing about this hotel was it's location!! Close to the Tower etc. The hotel was minging and if we could have found another one we would have, on the website it looks basic but clean, don't let that fool you! It's nothing like that, the beds were broken, the walls had holes in them and it looks like it hasn't been decorated or cleaned since the 70's. We were just lucky we only stayed one night and we made the best of it. Would never reccomend this hotel to anyone, it needs knocking down and building again!!

Room Tip: Find another hotel!

Was worried after reading reviews. Booked this as a cheap place to lay our heads on a girls night out. No frills, basic but did the job. The main selling point was the landlord Paul, a top guy! He bent over backwards to make sure our stay was good, he looked after us, stayed up until we all got home (3.30am) in my case and provided us with shots. Would definitely go back there, just to see him. Thanks paul for a brill night.
