We were in Blackpool for a friend's wedding, and decided to visit the Pleasure Beach, as a treat for our five year old daughter. We arrived at 3.45pm and as they were closing at 5pm, we opted for tickets rather than wristbands. Very quickly, the money racked up with this method-£6 each to get in, then 3-5 tickets (£1 each) per person for each ride, which means £18 for the 3 of us to get in, then £9-15 per ride for the 3 of us to go on rides. We spent almost £60 in an hour and a quarter. If we'd bought wristbands, it would only have cost £85, and I understand that you can get discounts of around 5-10% if you pre buy online. The park itself is very nice, with everything themed well, and plenty of very friendly staff on hand. We were there on a really quiet day so there were no queues, which was a nice bonus. The Nickelodeon Land area is well themed, and our daughter loved it. We're planning another trip sometime, but now we know how to get the best value out of the day, we'll be able to get the most out of it.
