An excellent B&B. Steve and Leigh were great hosts. After travelling from Scotland it was nice to be welcomed with tea and coffee while our bags were taken to our rooms. The breakfast was wonderful, the best we have had in any hotel. Our room was immaculate and very comfy.
All in all we had a lovely three night stay and we would highly recommend De-Lovely, we will certainly be back when next in Blackpool.

We spent a weekend there in Sept 2013 and found it to be super. Well placed for our requirements, a warm welcome, immaculate rooms and a great breakfast. Parking available around the area also. We had the green room which is on the top floor.

Met by Steve and Leigh on arrival, with the welcome offer of a nice cup of tea. Steve was very informative on restaurants, places of interest, cafes etc.. even giving us a card which allowed us discounts on a wide variety of restaurants/shops etc. Think the discount on the famous Blackpool Funny Girls show was as much as 50% off which is brilliant! The hotel was flamboyant and chic and our room, whilst quite small, was really well appointed with lovely bedding and decor. It had flat screen TV, lots of tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits. The bed was comfy and the room was really quiet. Breakfast was delicious..second to none! A wide choice of cereals/fruit/yogurts and a really yummy hot breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, Steve makes a great deal of effort with his guests, while Leigh cooks, ensuring a real personal touch, it's not surprising so many reviews are good.. you really are made to feel so welcome. I originally saw the De-Lovely on the series Four in a Bed which I love. Steve and Leigh won for their hotel and their hospitality.. definitely worthy winners!! We shall be back to this gem of a hotel which is in a great location and within easy walking distance of Blackpool town center. Although there is no car parking we managed to find a space a couple of streets away without too much of a problem, but there is a safe car park for £5 a night or £6 for 48 hours a few minutes away.

Ideally situated just minutes from the seafront and trams, and ten minutes pleasant walk to the tower and pier, as well as Blackpools delights the Lake District is also just over an hours drive. We stayed with Leigh and Steve earlier this year after being impressed by what we saw on 'Four in a Bed,' and were so delighted with our stay that we came back for more, and this time with more family in tow. Again, a wonderful warm welcome and bags taken to the room whilst we enjoyed a sit down with a coffee while we were checked in. Breakfast was FAB as always, and the rooms lack nothing, and are clean, comfortable and modern. We will definitely visit again, Steve and Leigh feel like friends to us now.

Room Tip: All rooms very individual. Makes a nice change from corporate uniformity

We stayed here at September weekend with our twin daughters in the giraffe family suite. The rooms, although not large, we're very nicely presented and our daughters absolutely loved the bunk beds and the tv on the wall as well as having their own en-suite. The hosts Steve and Leigh are so helpful, kind and friendly. They definitely go the extra mile as we after great day at pleasure beach and coral island we had a drink in the hotel and girls had a juice and Steve brought over a bowl of crisps for girls to share without us having ordered them which I thought was a really nice touch. When we arrived in blackpool they also had a cup of tea ready for us and a juice for girls which, again, was very thoughtful. I left a necklace in the bedroom and it was posted to me the next day -you honestly could not ask for better service than that!
The breakfast was a real treat, we have stayed in the hilton and big blue and the breakfast, served at your table, was the best we have had in blackpool. They even came over with extra links, bacon and hash browns for us!
If you are looking to stay at a good hotel in blackpool please choose this one as my daughters have said they don't want to stay anywhere else and that is praise indeed!
This is a lovely hotel with the best hosts in blackpool, it made us think how impersonal large hotels are and what a lovely change to have hosts that knew your name and made you feel so welcome. Well done Steve and Leigh - no wonder you won four in a bed - I can now see why!!! Thanks

We had a great stay from start to finish.

I emailed about parking before our stay and received a prompt and helpful reply back. There is some street parking out side and a reasonably charged car park about a 2-3 minute walk away.

On arrival Stevie and Leigh were friendly and helpful. The room was great and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was nice and Leigh and Stevie are attentive and have a good eye for attention to detail. I get the impression they take a real pride in their bed and breakfast place and the service they offer.

The location suited us perfectly. Close to the night life but not too close and a short walk to the front and tower area.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the De-Lovely and weekend in Blackpool.

Just as an aside thing - I noticed when looking for somewhere to stay that many places in Blackpool had lots of great reviews from people who have only ever made one review on Trip Advisor. I am always suspicious when I see lots of these. One of the reasons we chose to book the De-Lovely is because they had plenty of great reviews from people that have posted a number of reviews on Trip Advisor.

Myself and my family stayed at De-Lovely last weekend. We booked a total of three rooms over the weekend all of which were to an excellent standard. Clean, contemporary and comfortable. The welcome we received from Steven and Leigh was amazing, within moments we felt at home. They made us a pot of tea as soon as we arrived and took our bags to our rooms which was completely unexpected and greatly appreciated. We were wowed by the high level of customer service. Both Steve and Leigh are full of useful information and advice about Blackpool, its restaurants, cafes, bars and tourist activities. They even gave us a discount card for some participating cafes etc. which we used on more than one occasion.

The Breakfast was by far the best we have ever had at a B&B, it was superb. As with everything at De-Lovely it was served swiftly and professionally but even more importantly with a smile! We were incredibly sad to go and wished we had booked a longer stay. We would absolutely stay here again and are in fact already planning our next trip.

Huge thanks to Steven and Leigh for making my birthday weekend fabulous!
