“First Class once again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2011

Had a wonderful stay once again at The Morrisy. Gail very kindly also catered the breakfast for my friend who has coeliac disease and cannot eat any products containing gluten. Bit surprised at the lady who said Gail was rude? Dont know how you can possibly write a review on a hotel having never stayed there??? And why on earth would you leave your valuable dogs in a van...overnight....in the middle of summer?????

As I'd never stopped in a small hotel before I didn't know what to expect, first impressions were good as the Hotel was spotlessly clean, and from outside it was by far the nicest looking building on the block.

The couple who run the Morrisy are the nicest people you will ever meet and will go out of their way to make your stay as nice as possible, and Gail's cooked breakfast sets you up nice for a day around Blackpool.

The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the South Pier and a 10 minute walk from the Pleasure beach. We are planning a return to Blackpool for the lights in Septembers and will certainly be booking in to the Morrisy.

To the woman who only rated the Morrisy 1 star and said it was appalling, I suggest you give your head a shake and get your head out of your behind cos nobody believes you. How can you review the place when you never even stayed there in the first place, and as for Gail being "rude and abusive" I find that very hard to believe, as I have been told the only one that was rude and abusive was yourself!!

We have just spent a lovely family weekend in Blackpool at Morrisy House. It's a great base, particularly if it is a family break as North pier tends to be more groups and stag/hen parties. Clas and Gale were very welcoming and friendly throughout the stay and breakfast was brilliant - set us all up for the day. We had 2 rooms, one family room and one twin, both with en suite. Rooms and en suites were spotless and bright and airy. We also had a parking space for the car which was great as we didn't have to worry about finding somewhere to park and saved money. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be back - thanks again!

Room Tip: Room 6 family room (for 3) is lovely and front facing

Brilliant hotel very clean and very homely very very friendly staff! Big Breakfast couldnt ask for more lol kept us going the whole day. Bottom room 4 is the best room i have stayed in very popular room. Free parking is a bonus espically in blackpool. We have booked up again but couldnt sadly get the ground floor room, but im sure we will enjoy our stay just as much. Keep up the good work

Many Thanks

Stayed at the Morrisy House Hotel on the 17th/18th June. Had already stayed for a previous weekend last October. Great location, just off the South Pier. It's a good clean hotel which we would recommend to anybody. Breakfast was great and the rooms were excellent. Also free parking at the rear which is a bonus in Blackpool. Look forward to staying again.
