After reading reviews we booked dinner here on Friday. We arrived slightly early and were greeted most enthusiastically, as though we were regulars although this was our first visit.
Seated at our table with grissini and olives & carrot batons with a dip as an appetiser whilst perusing the menu was a most pleasant start to the meal. Discussing our drinks we settled on a bottle of the house white and were not disappointed.
As we are both fish lovers we chose starters and main s from the daily specials board - an excellent decision as both the prawns (starter) and cod (main) were superbly fresh, perfectly cooked ( I can't stand over-cooked fish) and excellently sauced and presented.
We had a leisurely meal (don't expect instant food as everything is cooked to order) with pleasant conversation with the owners (who were interacting well with all customers including children) follwed by an excellent grappa and superb espresso coffee.
A great meal at a good price and with such excellent service that I left a 15% tip which, being a yorkshireman with short arms & deep pockets, meant I was highly impressed.
An essential place to visit for great food - next time in Blackpool we will return.
