“Another Relaxing Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

I've lost count of the number of times I've stayed at this hotel. From the moment you arrive you are met by the friendly Kevin and Ian. You are served with tea and coffee if you wish and made to feel very welcome. We used Blackpool as a base for the weekend for our travels to Liverpool and the Lake District and visiting the bars and shops in the town. The breakfasts were up to their usual excellent standard with nothing too much trouble to cook. The usual high standards of the hotel have been maintained. If you're looking for an excellent Chinese restaurant try Michael Wan's Chinese in town. Very much looking forward to our return visit in the near future

What a lovely B & B,nothing was too much trouble for the owners Kevin and Ian, even down to the tomotoes for my breakfast, when i told them i didn't like "real" tomotoes, they kindly got in a tin of toms for me the following morning. The rooms were clean, tidy and nicely decorated, with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits made available in the rooms and a stick of rock too! There was a little cupboard of stock incase you had forgotten anything important, the bar was fully stocked and they even made me my favorite cocktail shot when asked, they couldn't do enough for you. They had all the information about blackpool: where to get cheaper attraction tickets and even gave us a discount card for certain bars and restaurants in blackpool. We liked it that much we were coheresed into staying another night.... its a good job i'd booked Monday off. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Room Tip: If you want friendly, clean, tidy, quieter part of Blackpool this is the place.

just stayed on Friday 20th September with my wife and two young boys, having left the Norbeck castle due to it being awful i we asked for a refund and i remembered seeing this on trip advisor so i rang up to ask for a family room and to my surprise they had one available so we ordered a taxi and off we went, well what a wise move, from the minute we got there we was welcomed lovely by Ian who was charming and offered as a tea which was in a lovely big pot, we had a carton of pop each for the kids which we was only charged a £1 for. we sat and had our drinks while chatting and we was made to feel so very welcome by Kevin and Ian. We was given our room key to room 3, Ian offered to carry our bags which was very nice but we was ok but we did take up the offer to leave the push chair down stairs while we got ready which was helpful which these guys are nothing but, the room was perfect, nice décor and warm clean and welcoming. we got ready and went down ready for a night out in Blackpool and to prepare to see the fireworks which Kevin told us all about as we did not know. We had a nice evening and on returning to our nice clean warm room we asked for some milk, Ian sorted fresh milk in a jug and a bag full of small cartons then we had a quick chat, Ian is such a lovely helpful human being and is so nice and helpful its just so refreshing and charming to see, the breakfast made by the lovely Kevin was just simply fantastic and me my wife and kids where full up for the whole day, this as been a weekend away that's been great and made extra special by this place and the lovely guys who run it, thanks to you both, we will be back again no doubt and we look forward to it. just a great place to stay and lovely people. thanks again.
