We booked in to this hotel relatively blind and only choosing because it had a website and parking and was only £20pppn. Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted at the front door by Cliff the owner who welcomed us in and promptly showed us where to park, which is in the private drive behind the hotel with locked gates. Once back at the reception/bar area, we signed in and Cliff took us to our room, which was a large family room which could accomodate 5 plus cot. The room was very clean with white bedding and towels. Ithad a large plasma tv suspended from the ceiling with digital TV in the room also. Lots of room for luggage in the room and very comfortable. The hotel also has free Wi-Fi throughout. The bathrooom was quote small with shower cubical, sink and toilet but again all very clean. We popped down to the bar which has a lovely lounge area at the front with large digital TV and the bar itself also has a pool table and bandit. Drinks were from cans but lots of selection and only £2 which was reasonable. Bottles were £2.50 and spirits £1.50 plus mixer. Breakfast was excellent. Cereal was available if you wanted it and fresh orange juice was ready for you on the table with apple juice also available. We got cooked breakfast which was 2 bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, beans, chopped tinned tomatoes, hash brown and fried bread. This was coupled with toast and tea/coffee. The hotel is literally straight down the side street over the road from the casino and south pier. The street is very quiet and no noise at all was heard during our stay and we were in and out quite a lot for a cigarette. I would definately recommend this place. All in all an excellent hotel which offers real value for money and the owners couldn't be more friendly.
