Stayed as part of a big group. Well located for the North Pier & tower.
The staff were all very friendly & helpful, and it was clean.
The reception/bar area has a free coffee machine available all day and night, which I would always prefer to the basic drink-making facilities in the room.
The single beds are really quite narrow, and in the twin rooms there's only a few inches between them. But very comfortable nonetheless.
Heating seems to be an issue - the rooms were freezing but there were controls in the room to adjust the temperature. I'm not sure any of us really worked out how to use them but the staff seemed happy enough to come and sort it.
The biggest problem was the fact that the hotel is located above a nightclub and some of the rooms suffer badly. I was on the second floor (therefore a floor separating the room from the club) and the thump thump thump of the music wasn't good news. It was a Saturday night and went on until 4am. Some of our group suffered badly. The night staff offered to change rooms, but no-one was inclined to do so at that time of night.
