“One of Blackpools hidden gems”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

After our previous experience (see our other reviews) we opted to stay down the south end, in Blackpool these hotels seem to have more parking freely available either private or on-street parking...as this is our top priority when deciding on hotel choice. This hotel seemed perfect for our needs ... and we weren't disappointed ... our friends and ourselves booked for two nights.
We had booked two of the three 4 poster bed rooms. Checking-in was simple and greeted professionally. Our room was on the second floor and our friends room was on the first floor, directly below us. There were no lifts, but this didn't cause us a problem, but I am sure if you needed help with your luggage, they would arrange this for you.
We opened the door to our room and was flabbergasted by the cleanliness, the tasteful décor and overall design of the room. We had a seaview with a balcony, plenty of storage with wardrobe and doors and the bathroom was immaculate.
The bed was comfortable, clean and quiet. They came and made the room up whilst we were out on our first day, which we didn't expect and was a welcome gesture.
The only downside, was the water pressure in the shower, that said, the shower was still hot and there was plenty of water.
The hotel is a two minute walk from the Pleasure Beach ... a tram ride away from the Tower and a two minute walk from the local co-op, where you can purchase all-day roaming Tram tickets cheaper than purchased on the tram itself.
Would we come back here? ... Yes we would without any hesitation. We can't comment on the food, as we didn't have any. In general, I wish hotels would supply more of there condiments, I'm sure if we had asked we would of had more. Overall a top scoring hotel :)

Room Tip: Definitely book the 4 poster room, with the balcony, has patio doors and tremendous views of the sea...

We booked a family room here on the back of other reviews on here and I am so pleased we did. The hotel is located just south of the Pleasure Beach (200m) away from it. No night time noise outside. We stayed here for 4 nights. You had the option of breakfast at a extra cost so you could choose to have it or not. I would recommend it though. The family room consisted of a double bed and bunk beds. The room was clean and were maintained daily while we stayed there. The bar had a Tv and a pool table. Prices at the bar were good value as well. If you want value for money family stay at Blackpool away from the noise but still in walking distance I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND here

Booked hotel due to the reviews on here and because the hotel had it's own parking.
Great value and location and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The Hotel is situated right near the Pleasure Beach and Tram and a nice quiet location.
The room was a Family room and clean and tidy and the shower was warm and worked well.
The only problem we had was the bed was very soft and we woke up most mornings with neck ache!
I would use this hotel again but would hope we were unlucky with the bed this time!

Stayed for 2 nights mid July at the beginning of the school holidays.Very friendly owners who couldn't do enough to help. Clean comfortable rooms which were very good value for money. Only minor drawback was the shower pressure was a little weak in the mornings. Overall very pleasant stay and would definitely return!

Everytime I go to Blackpool it's very hard to get clean accommodation, well this was. We had the dog also and he was allowed in bar and room. Good breakfast. The staff really couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable too.

Had a 2 night stay in the hotel it was clean room was lovely and spacious. Very family orientated place with a very pleasant family running it. Breakfast was lovely and very generous. The parking was great no parking like sardines. It was quietly situated just what we wanted. I really enjoyed my stay and will be going back with our lad next year.
