“Time your visit carefully”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

This restaurant offers an exteemely popular "early bird" which fills the place to bursting point, this is up to 7.00 pm. We arrived at 7.30, without booking, the place was packed - which speaks volumes for the food - as most of the customers seemed to be locals. Had to wait for an early bird to fly away, and the table to be cleared. Food was very good, and reasonable value as well. Good choices as a good specials board. The staff were rushing around like blue ar**ed flies at the start, but settled down as the evening progressed, they seem to overdo the pastiche Italian a bit too much, but the rest of the customers seemed to like it, would certainly go again

“Cheap but not cheap enough”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012 via mobile

As one of the previous reviews said , " CHEAP AND CHEARFULL" but unfortunately not cheap enough , service average and for below average, only trid it due to our usual Italian being too busy and the reviews on Trip Adviser had it well marked, however I can't understand where all he high reviews have come from , maybe all the employees have to fill out a good review once a night ? I believe some places do this , anyway as being an avid Italian eater I would not recommend this one, or maybe I had just caught it on a bad night , who knows , but I won't be taking the chance in finding out !

“Great authentic Italian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012 via mobile

Food and atmosphere is great, huge choice on regular menu and numerous specials too. Very reasonably priced.

Welcome is good, however some staff overwhelming especially towards the children which was slightly uncomfortable.

Clearly lots of returning customers which says it all.

Everyone pleased with their choices, would return as good food hard to find in Blackpool

“What a friendly place and lovely food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012 via mobile

Glad we went , walked past it twice as we were in search of hearty massive steak as we were hungry . After calling for a drink round the corner and looking at a few more eating places we decided to head back to here . It was packed out and only 2 tables empty . we hadnt booked so imagined wed be sent away but luckily we werent . we decided on the early bird . starter and main £9.99 each , we also ordered a bottle of house wine £13 , when it arrived it was a litre bottle which was a bonus and very nice too . Claudio the owner is very friendly and never stops . A couple sat on the table next to us who were local and go they once or twice a week as its so good . fantastic atmosphere , lovely tasty food and very reasonably priced . Apparently Nigel Benn was there a couple of months ago .We will definately go again when in blackpool .Brilliant !!!
