Last weekend was our second stay at Arties, we went as a group of 14. As previously, we were made so welcome by Marie, Andy and family. Nothing is too much trouble for them, just wanting their guests to have a good time. The two of us were unable to go on Friday evening, so arrived at 8.00 a.m. on Saturday morning, when Marie and Andy were busy cooking breakfast. Despite being busy, Marie was so welcoming and made us a cup of tea, while we waited for breakfast.
We enjoyed a trip to Freeport at Fleetwood (we were advised by Andy and Marie to buy day tickets from the newsagents, which gave us unlimited travel on the trams and buses).
The meals during the weekend were lovely, from the massive breakfasts, to the 3 course evening meal and Sunday lunch (gorgeous roast potatoes). Thankyou to Marie, Andy, James, Amy and Lauren, for making our weekend so relaxing and enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing you all next time. Love Hilary and Don
