Upon arrival we were met by the owners who proved to be the nicest, most accomodating hosts imaginable throughout our 2 night stay. Compilmenary cups of tea, fantastic breakfasts and usefull/helpful local knowledge.

We will definitely be back in the summer :)

Simply put this is a nice hotel for nice people. I think you probably know if you fall into this category. The owners work hard to ensure a good balance of guests, many of whom I suspect are repeat business. John's a bit frosty but he's not front of house much and his wife Lorna is helpful and has bags of enthusiasm. My children, aged 7 and 10 received a lovely warm reception and enjoyed every minute of their stay. The hotels clean, the breakfast is one of the best and the bar's well stocked !

we booked through internet paid in full recieved e mail with confirmation and when we turned up on the day of our stay we were greeted by a very rude mannered man which didnt crack a smile or welcome us at all. we were then given a form to fill out with our ages on i wasnt aware of any age restrictions when booking then to be taken to the side by this sour faced man to be told we couldnt stay as we had a 4 year old and told us we had lost our money. we explained but he wasnt bothered and then had to go find another hotel and pay again.this man doesnt deserve any custom as his attitude stinks and wouldnt refund us anything back

Great location and lovely people. Food was amazing.. if we had stayed much longer we would have had to join weight watchers! John and Lorna couldn't do enough for everyone. Full of local knowledge.. only downside would be the shortage of parking spaces but they were very helpful to find one. Would definately go back....

We looked at all the reviews for this hotel on tripadvisor and were a bit worried about the stay. But when we got their the women owner (Lorna) was very nice and friendly she showed us round the hotel which was nice and very clean. The hotel was in a good place as it was between the tower and the pleasure beach/ waterpark. So that was handy. The bedroom was a bit small but really clean and the bed was comfy although i think the tv may need updating as it was old and small. The breakfast in the morning was good, their was plenty to choose from. Would deffinetly come here again. :)

My girlfriend and myself (both 20) stayed for 2 nights. The owners were very friendly and the hotel rooms were nice and clean, with an en-suite bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was also nice and the staff provided great service. The location of the hotel was ideal since we wanted to visit the Pleasure Beach and the Blackpool Tower and the hotel is right in the middle of the two. The only small downside was the car parking - there were few spaces out front which were already taken, so we had to pay £15 to park in a secure car park 2 minutes walk around the corner. The whole stay overall however was fantastic and we would definately stay here again the next tine we visit Blackpool.
