“Visiting Blackpool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

From start to finish the experience has been first class ... The attention to detail in the room decor is superb ,,, the food has been outstanding and the staff are all the most friendly and helpful in a happy relaxed manner showing they absolutely love their job, very refreshing and delightful ! We loved the room .. We loved the food ... We loved the entire time, top class !!!

If you are visiting Blackpool, this hotel is located in best position, 5 minutes walk to Blackpool tower and same again 5 minutes walk to the pleasure beach. We had a sea view room, it was spacious, nice and clean. My kids loved it. We will stay in this hotel again on our next visit.
Oh!! Before I forget there is lift to all rooms.

We stayed here for 3 nights. I booked the Executive room. We were not disappointed. The room was lovely with en suite and a four poster bed. With 2 sea view windows. It was very clean (room 214).
The owners and their family and staff are absolutely wonderful and could not do enough for us. Always a smile.
Breakfast was really good and plenty of it.
Drinks are reasonably priced and there is a lovely seating area outside to sit and watch the world go by.

You always get what you pay for.

Will definitely return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Book an executive room. Worth the extra.

This hotel was great for location for all the bars , tower and for the pleasure beach , the bar and restaurant were reasonable , breakfast was lovely and could eat as much as you can handle , always a good thing !! The rooms were a little dated but very clean , the owners were very nice and helpful , no complaints at all , would go back again .

stayed here the a few weeks ago we only went because it said there was entertainment on at weekend well there clearly was nothing on, it was a basic hotel bar prices a bit steep £5 for pint of blackcurrent and lemonade and a soda water and dash of lime :( but the good side to this hotel was the lovely breakfast a great choice, and the staff who cleaned the rooms were so friendly:)

Room Tip: 109 has sea view :)

After looking at the website we decided to book for 2 nights, we soon realised our mistake as soon as we arrived
The double room was like a postage stamp, the bathroom a joke
Walking on the floor made the wardrobe vibrate and look in danger of falling over, in need of decoration throughout, thin mattress made sleep a chore, not the cleanest place to stay, a £10 deposit req for t.v remote
Breakfast cold, unreal when you only have a 30min window to eat (9.00 to 9.30)
No entertainment in the dated tatty bar and always closed early
Parking ok if you don't need your car till your departure day as you are boxed in
All the above for £70 per night B&B x 2 people better and cheaper accommodation is available close by
DON'T BELIEVE THE WEBSITE PICTURES

myself & my husband stayed for 4 days in July 2013. This is a family run hotel in every sense of the word & for this family nothing is to much trouble, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We most definitely will be going back in September, thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed at this Hotel for three nights. We had booked a triple room - the room allocated was barely what you would class a double room. Very small. Noise from room above as guests walked about was very loud. Decor was very dated and could do with being updated. Breakfast was of good quality, and probably the best thing about this hotel. The hotel is in a good location but I would not recommend this to friends and family.
